Yes, when their contract expires and their teams don't renew them. I have two ex-Guado Glories in my team.

They're expecting a Fighting Game or Action Game and don't care about the story.

Do you have to find them in the world, or does it let you know in the blitzball menus? /Has never played anything other than exhibition games

It will tell you that their contract expired and wasn't renewed, but then you have to go find them in the world.

Personally, I always stick with Wedge, Brother, and Tidus, with Yuma Guado on goalie and two other people doing stuff in the back there. But I only play for the important Wakka items and then I'm done, so I may not be the best advisor here.

If people got so surprised that Wakka was Bender wlil it make them even more surprised that Kimahri is also Bender as John DiMaggio does the voice acting for both Wakka and Kimahri

Found that out years ago and it was actually because I realised it was Kimahri that had the same VA as Bender before I even realised he also did Wakka's voice.

Come on lets face it it's much funnier knowing Bender and Kimahri share the same VA

Honestly, this is how I feel. When it's Final Fantasy, there can never be enough emphasis on story. It's sad these people do exist. Besides, it's been ten years since the original game came out and I'm pretty sure there are some people that don't remember some, if not all, the story.

^I tend to grab Miyu from the Moonflow for Goalie until I can grab Nimrook (who btw Force, is on the airship). Keep an eye on how many games they have left then save when they have 1 game left, because they sometimes re-sign immediately. More often than not, Nimrook does this.

there is a cutscene i have never seen the end of in anubis zoe because of that

But yeah, I think it would be like in KH. You press start to pause, and then when you are paused you press square or some such.

Also, I have no idea how I did it but I just beat the Goers. I never bothered trying to beat them before, and now I just do it by accident. Huh.

I have only ever managed to beat them by exploiting the AI. I'm always completely puzzled by the people who beat them like 4-1, much less on accident. How? Any time they get the ball it is damn near guaranteed to score because Keepa couldn't catch a cold.

Lady Yunalesca was surprisingly easy. I remember her being a bitch to fight the last time I played, but then again that was before I was aware she was going to use mega death on the entire party.

I've beaten them 10-0. After the first time, it was never that hard.

Any time they get the ball it is damn near guaranteed to score because Keepa couldn't catch a cold.

It's not too difficult. Once you get the ball, spend half your time passing amongst your teammates while waiting for someone (probably Tidus) to get near their goal while drawing out every other member of their team. Then pass and shoot. The more passing you do, though, the more exp your team will get and the more likely they will be to level up at halftime (allowing you to equip the Sublimely Magnificent Jecht Shot Mk II, at which point you don't even have to draw out their defense).

to elaborate, i only finished anubis/2nd runner once (while getting through a backlog of games), though i tried to play through it again with the intention of seeing this cutscene again but then i chose to play with one of the bonus character/frames and then i couldn't get past one of the boss battles that requires skill to complete and i just smash at the pad like a monkey opening a clam

basically i'm bad at games but have lots to play so i moved on to another

So, I defeated Spherimorph and then backtracked to Besaid for the Jecht spheres before Dark Valefor blocks me from getting the last one.

Interesting that people talk about the impending wedding on the entire route. Guess the devs actually expected that people might backtrack this far. :p

I have to say I've never gone backwards at all in FFX...That is interesting.

If you're at the point where you can Fahrenheit your way around, you should be strong enough to kill Dark Valefor, if memory serves.

As soon as you get the airship? Dark Valefor straight up demolishes you at that point without you even getting a turn.

Really? I mean, I know Shiva absolutely does that, but Valefor is easily the most manageable of the bunch.

Although I might have done some monster hunting and junk so I could get Masamune? I can't remember.

Of the two, which one did you guys choose to die: Luzzu or Gatta?

I...I can't decide. The pressure.

Although I always felt that Gatta's death was sadder so I'll probably have Luzzu die.

You can't get it anymore when Dark Valefor shows up? Or do you just not want to deal with her?

You can still get it, you just have to beat her.
