Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Kinda bad surveying: "rate these things from best to worst", followed by "rate the exact same things from worst to best". Okay then. Filled it out and basically asked for two things: 1. a PC release, and 2. some way of saving/loading entire sets of gambits.

Can this game come out like yesterday already?? ;___;
I have a hankering to start a new game but I don't want to invest 157 THOUSAND hours of my life just in time for TZA to come out. ;___;

I also wonder if there will be any sort of special edition release. Do want artbook, soundtrack, steelbook case, FRAN FIGURE. <3

My advice would be to just do a playthrough. Although I suppose it's not too long til it's coming out compared to when X was announced. I waited two years wanting to play that because I thought it would come out at any moment XD

I've waited nearly 20 years for the remake and 10 years for XV so I think I can hang on by a tooth or nail. :wacky:

Dry spells like this can be dangerous though. I've spent 2 hours on ebay today. :scared:

It's supposed to come out next year, but WHEN next year is the real question :wacky: Winter? Spring? Summer? Fall? Christmas time? :monster:

I love that rerecorded music. Oh god. Can we hear the Theme of the Empire next please??? :megusta:

Is it wrong that I don't feel impressed by the 'HD' graphics? I do notice a difference, but it doesn't feel like too much of a step up.

Then again, I did have to watch this trailer on my phone, so maybe that's why I'm all 'meh'.

Bluh, I was hoping for pre-rendered cutscenes. Those are the ones I'm the most excited for.

This. I mean - I see they rounded the edges and got rid of that "very emulated crispy" feel, but I don't see a huuuuge major difference.
I guess it does look more balanced though.

Also not too excited about that font.

You hit the nail on the head.

I also don't know how to feel about the way some things are colored now; in addition to sharpening the image and funding put the edges like you said, I feel like they also hit the saturate button somewhere. :monster:

And yes, that font is meh.

i also watched it on my phone but didn't really notice a massive jump, but then again ffxii already looked really good (i always liked the way they did the character's eyes, it felt different from the standard 'sphere inside the head model' way? idk what are you even talking about now, shut me up pls). i guess everything will just be crisper and details more visible

i think i would need to see side by side comparisons to really tell

Final Fantasy XII was one of the best-looking games ever to come out on the PS2 (more on that here) so I'm not surprised that the HD remaster doesn't look dramatically different. But I don't mind; if and when I get this game, it won't be for the graphics, but for the IZJS goodies and the lifting of the effect capacity. :)

Have we determined if they'll be able to de-tin can-ify the vocals?

It was confirmed somewhere that they will, but then there was a random tweet that said maybe not. I'm having trouble remembering, but there should be chat about that somewhere early in this thread XD.
