It's not that. it's that FFXIII looks downright juvenile compared to what we've seen of Versus. In look and tone it's somewhat similar to FFVII. I can see the appeal. Also, it helps that the main dude isn't wearing parachute pants.

We can't actually compare with Versus... Since what they have showed is... like three different scenaries? One full conversation of Noctis approaching Stella and battle. That's it. While XIII-2 has whole marketing going on. Probably the fact that it looks darker helps...but still I can't compare neither of the games. Since as of right now, XIII-2 looks way more interesting than versus. WHen they start showing new stuff again, maybe my mind will change. Meanwhile...just..no

Its like comparing a completed house with one who has just began construction. If people want to make comparisons then its just fine...but I don't think its logic to compare a full game against one who has so little details running around.

Also, the mere fact that one thing has a bright color palette doesn't mean it's juvenile. "Dark" is overrated in my opinion, and FF7 was not, it has a pretty bright color palette.

Yeah, I think it's kind of hard to really judge a character on a game that's not out yet. It was kind of mentioned a page or two ago about shipping characters in a game that's not out yet (or was that the versus thread, I can't remember). I mean, you have to remember the scenes from trailers are out of context.

Although I doubt Noel being rude to Snow wouldn't be enough to make me hate him anyway. And I like Snow. For one, it could just be a random emotional outburst. For another thing, being rude/mean to another character doesn't instantly make me hate them. See for example: Lulu.

Yannow I didn't think about that. I know with Japanese DLC you can... but I'm not sure otherwise. I mean I rarely hear anyone talk about it with American version of games. O.o if that's the case you should get one and I'll get the other and we can share our PSN accounts so we get both
