Final Fantasy XV (was Versus XIII)

I just finished FFXV.

I didn't mind it too much but I felt very disconnected from it. Felt like huge swaths of the story just didn't exist in game. Or interesting ideas weren't explored, and when they came into the story, they had already finished where we couldn't see them. I don't know. Haven't been keeping up, maybe some sort of update has been announced.

wasn't suprised noctis and luna died. Tabata likes killing off his characters. And during their death scenes, he tends to linger just a little too long. Like we get one long sad death scene, then a minute after, another. I don't know. It was very him.

I read on Twitter that it'll take about 2-3 hours to beat Episode Gladio, depending on how much you want to take your time to play through it.

I'm really eager to hear how this storyline goes. The article Lulcielid posted said it delves into his past... I wonder how far.

Here's the episode menu btw. Rather sultry.

Don't mind if I do! :wackymonster:

EDIT:

Gameplay looks pretty solid. Pretty interesting little history tidbit at the beginning there too. :awesome:

I look forward to moar Cor.

Hoooly helllll, some big time lore confirmation right there in the first few moments of Episode Gladio:

"Long ago, the traitorous Ifrit waged war against the rest of the Hexatheon. Many moons passed as the embittered battle raged on, culminating in a clash between Bahamut and Ifrit in which the latter was laid asunder atop the Rock of Ravatogh. Taelpar Crag, the grand gorge dividing Duscae and Cleigne, exemplifies the severity of the War of the Astrals while also symbolizing the rift that separated the Six."
----

So, there we have confirmation that Ifrit's remains do indeed reside at the Rock of Ravatogh. :monster:

Yes!! I saw that too and my jaw dropped.

But at least it's just Ifrit's remains though. :monster:

But god, Bahamut must've wrecked his ass so hard in order to form that whole place! Cheezus!

One thing I LOVE about this damn game is the utter gold mine of dialogue I keep coming across that I've never heard before. I wonder if we'll ever hear it all.

Probably only when somebody extracts- and plays the sound files. I wouldn't be surprised if some dialogue is quite rare or even unused. Hmm, I just hope that whoever extracts the files also knows how to read which lines of dialogue go together and which don't.

I love that weapon description from Nier Automata. Feels really sad but I guess that's Nier's writing for you :awesome:

My thoughts exactly.

I didn't finish until now because the game gave me so much thumb pain I had to stop. What made it really lol was that
of course I had to pick the dumbest photo of Noctis and Gladio I could find for the final picture, and so when Luna grabs the pic it was just hilarious.

That version of Battle on the Big Bridge. SOOO GOOD

Also, I'm seeing all the Dark Souls influences from the trailer.
This DLC is going to be amazing.
