Seconded!
Dawn/Dawn 2.0 and Omen were pretty, but basically fluff, which is okay because, you know, trailers. I really liked Brotherhood. Especially the Prompto and Ignis episodes. So, it's been a year. Was kinda lukewarm towards the game after the initial "OMG IT'S HERE" phase, but I'm giving it another chance. Doing the whole multimedia experience, thanks to the list X provided above. Did Dawn, Brotherhood, and Omen yesterday, Kingsglaive today, the novel thing on Thursday and Friday, and starting the game next Monday, with all the DLC.
I'm so excited to see how you feel about itttttttt~

Will be doing Kingsglaive tonight. More thoughts then.
On the subject of Costlemark... anyone here clear the Item-ban section?
Advice on equipment/setups would be appreciated.

Yup. I cleared it when the Level Cap was still at 99.
• Magitek Suits to ensure everyone has HP maxed out.
• Ignis' ability to restore HP can be a lifesaver.
• Wait between each encounter to recover to full.
• Make a few spells that'll recover your HP when you cast them by making them with items.
• The most important thing is use the campsites for food.
• Ragnarok can be helpful.
• THE GODDAMN POWER PLANT SPACE SUITS FOR THE FINAL BOSS.
JechtShotMK9: Fantastic thoughts! I'm glad you seem to've enjoyed it overall.

I'm surprised no one made a separate thread for this.* Not that this is huge and amazing news necessarily, but hearing about it on YouTube only today is the first time I've heard the term 'demaster', so I started looking into it, realising it's actually a thing happening with several games. I find this topic to be kinda interesting. FF6 was my first FF and Chrono Trigger was my first JRPG.
