Today on May 8th, it's been 10 years since it's original reveal. We've come a long way.

The game has evolved so much since then. I like what we have now, but I can't help to dream/wonder what we could have been if Nomura (and now Tabata) stuck to this (darker) version of the game.

With Versus XIII having become XV and it and XIII having been announced at the same time, it also means that it's been ten years since the last announcement of a numbered offline FF game. Also kinda crazy.

I'm really looking forward to XV of course but I'm also looking forward to finally move on and see something completely new once XVI gets announced.

No. FFXII released on March 16th, 2006 (JP).

Because I generally regard online games as an entirely different beast. Especially when the series for the majority of games has been singleplayer/offline.

There were actually plans at one point to have every game from XI onwards be online...glad that didn't happen.

Yeah, hadn't been released internationally at that point yet.
European release was in 2007, which was fucking ridiculous.

It's already confirmed that the english cast for KINGSGLAIVE are not reprising their roles of the characters they're voicing for the actual game itself. I'm not surprised.

What I am surprised though is that Sean Bean's casted as the King himself.
