I really, really have mixed feelings about this game. I mean the potential is actually there had they actually released all the DLCs together with the game. Still feel like something is missing.
Beacon of Hope - Powered up all facilities in Lestallum. Kingly Blessing - Received a Royal Sigil.
One with Your Blade - Crafted a weapon of Level 30 or higher. Come Back, Kenny! - Met the owner of the Crow's Nest Diner.
Hidden Trophies/Secret Achievements
Royal Retinue Rumble - Bested the Chosen King's companions. Cleaving a Path - Witnessed the awakening of King Noctis. Let There Be Light - Amassed an output of 999,999 kW.
Honestly, the delayed release of having these as DLC has helped them each stand on their own, rather than all being all one part along with the game (as cool as that would've been). Not to mention, that would've made some people prone to bitching about any of the DLC they didn't like had detracted from the main game's budget and doing X/Y better, whereas these DLC have all existed specifically BECAUSE the game did as well as it did, and that's where its budget came from.
It makes me unbelievably happy that he's involved. I love the Chrono music, and it'll be awesome to have his touch as a part of XV. – Also, this DLC comes out the day before The Last Jedi, so I'm basically just gonna have two full days of ALL THE FEELS back-to-back.
Ravus and Ignis have a TON in common. They were close to Luna/Noctis, and both of them will have lost something significant by using the Ring of the Lucii. The fact that they're travelling together during the DLC just reinforces that even more.
So we had the majority of this panel recorded, but I wanted to share this moment with you.
It was this, along with several other moments, combined with giving Tres his gift, that the emotion of this weekend just snowballed completely. It was good emotions and good feels though. Regardless of how many of you may feel about XV, this game has changed my life this year and opened a lot of doors. I feel like I'm at a better place now in life because of this game.
