So, here are the Taekwondo clay cuties I made for a custom order last week. They turned out so cute, I love them! Also my first time painting eyes on my clay cuties, and I'm happy they turned out good; I love painting eyes, it's usually my favorite thing to paint.
Also, I know what I said on a thread somewhere about wanting to make my own creations and sell them instead of sell fanart, but... I have to admit, I was asked to do a fanart piece, and I did it. Trying to get my name out there more than anything; I didn't want to refuse the commission when I'm still new to this.
So, it's Ichigo's Hollow mask. And I really love how it came out, it's a personal fave of mine.
Also, like I mentioned, the commissioners loved these, which makes me super happy and it's totally worth it.

Okay so I finally posted pics of my marsh dragon on facebook, so now that I've gotten my ass in gear I'll post them here. 
This guy is seriously my pride and joy right now. He is hands down the best sculpture I've made so far (as far as fantasy goes!), and he took many hours to create.
Sculpting: 17 hours.
Painting: 12-15 hours.
I love this guy so much. He looks amazing to me. I was helped out a lot by this book called 'Fantasy Creatures in Clay' by Emily Coleman. Seriously, she has a lot of wonderful tips for creating a sturdy armature, realistic muscles, and some good painting techniques I got to try out!
I can't wait to do another dragon like this again! <3

First off, sorry Joe for taking so long to draw a stick figure story about Vaan, Basch and Baltheir getting drunk, but I will do my best to draw it sometime soon. I hope. I want to, it's just when do I want to take the time to do it...

Bit of an art dump here; these were all done last year.
Brute Dragons I designed for the fun of it; they ended up getting a rather desert look to them.
Here's Muzen, a piece I did for practice. I was at one time advertising character portrait drawings, and he was done as an example. Used a fox for reference~
Another character portrait example, Risata. I had a lot of fun with this one. <3
Both of them are my own designs.
lastly, my current signature on this forum! I really love this one. The concept is the ideas of something coming from a sea of ink, forming into the air with ink strokes and then reaching spots of color the further from the ink it comes. I would like to do another piece like this someday, or a progression from this one, as I really had fun with it and love the look and the concept.

So I haven't said much about it, but I've written a high fantasy novel, called The Freezing Fog, and it's the first book in what'll probably be a trilogy.
In the novel, there's some rather important beasts called fogriders. They're the mounts of a race of mysterious people called Mistwalkers, and they live within the deadly Freezing Fog.
Here's my designs of the fogriders so far; I've mostly done baby fogrider drawings, but the black one on top is the first fullbody adult fogrider I've drawn so far. They have some similarities to a griffin, but that's only in design; what they are is my own creation. I really love them. <3
A little info of them, they're usually white or light gray in color, and the darker the color the more rare they are. This is because they live in the Freezing Fog, and inside the white mists, white objects are naturally camouflaged. Black fogriders are very rare, but oftentimes are considered the most beautiful, possibly because of their rarity.
They have an omnivorous diet, and they're very strong. They hatch from eggs that can fit inside the palms of two hands held together, but can grow to be twice the height of an adult man. They have strong bonds with those around them, often like that of a horse or a dog and their owners. They have an intelligence that seems oftentimes more than just an animal, but not at the level of a human.
^That last one is the very first sketch of a fogrider I ever did. I still love it.
So, most of this stuff in the thread aren't very recent, but that's because usually my drawing time right now is spent on illustrating a children's book. Sometimes though, I have to take a break from it and make something fantasy-based, like... a dragon or something from my books.

^ I love characters that are really fierce looking as adults and super cute/chibi as babies. (Sort of like Korra).

Sooo here's my latest finished sculpture; it's a realistic starfish, commissioned by one of my cousins. It's modeled after the Purple Starfish in the pacific ocean, I often see them in the sound in Washington state; they come in an ochre color too, but she wanted the purple one. 
In my hand for size-comparison; it's life-sized!
She's going to hang this one up, from what I hear, and she would like me to make another one. That makes me happy! ^.^ It means I did a good job on this one, for her to want to commission me again!
And one thing I can count on in my family, is there's no 'commissioning me because I'm family'. They only do it if they like my stuff, which is great.
And in case maybe anyone is interested... I'd do another realistic, life-sized starfish like this for $60.00. So, a size that fits in your hand, basically.

Okay, so I finished these four little owls I was making for my sis's birthday last week, and here's the finished results! These were so simple to sculpt and so cute, but though my intention was to make them simple and cute, the paint job got a little out of control and... they got a bit more 'realistic' cute, in the end. XD

By the way, the first three owls in the top pic are based off of real owls.
