I have an issue with the way Rockstar animate facial expressions and body movement. It just looks... off. Like there's excessive arm movement or something. I find it genuinely off-putting.
I dunno, I was a huge fan of the GTA series until GTA IV -they also seem to have developed this fetish for movement being like walking through water. It was too damn slow.
I don't think i'll be picking this up.

I just find it hilarious that it's taking place in a parody of the city I live in. 
And that I literally only found out that a new GTA was coming out 2 days ago from a billboard...
Really want to see if the made the traffic as bad as it actually is...

I've been playing it. It's.. a gta. At least the city's more interesting and colorful than liberty city
Also, I think I figured out why Im not too keen of the series aside from not really interested in most of the random stuff (I can play tennis? ok, whatever). I don't like doing things that the character Im playing as wouldnt do, which makes alot of the open world stuff not really appealing.
And I've gone on killing rampages since the original gta. Kindof lost its luster awhile ago. Ohh I ran that car into a bunch of people! Ok whatever.

You could apply those arguments to just about any series of games though, couldn't you? They've got to have some common elements or they wouldn't be a series at all.
I can't question how you feel, of course. I'm just glad I haven't played the earlier games so much, so V almost feels like a completely new experience to me.

Is there a way to turn off the warning that I'm going to save over something? It always stops and asks me whenever the auto save happens. Its really irritating.

So yeah I got this game, only played for a bit, not sure how I feel about it.
To me GTA games have always been about the music, there's nothing like bombing down the pavement listening to your favourite tunes on the radio with the police sirens in the background periodically being interrupted by the sounds of skulls bounding off of the bonnet of your car.
But I just can't find a music station I like. Someone tell me: what's the rock station called? What the metal station? Where's the 80s station?
I've only heard of one song before: Radio GAGA by Queen was on one side, but I can't remember which one.

Got it last Friday.
While I don't think it's the masterpiece that many call it, it's what a good gta is supposed to be like. It's much more varied than IV (which got boring after a while for me). Story and characters are great. The extra activities are nice, though I only enjoy the racing and (strangely enough) tennis. The hunting and hanging out with friends don't strike me as particularly fun things to do, but then again I haven't tried them enough. I haven't tried golfing.
The map is big, but much of it is only vast wilderness, fun to ride in and do stunts with your buggy and quad and look at, but not much else (It's a good world to incorporate DLC missions, i think). I'd have liked if there was another city, not only Los Santos.

So Carlie and I had a lot of fun on the Online part last night. It mainly consisted of us doing missions, races and shootouts together, and then we just decided to just kill each other.
