All that said, Holiday 2019 (December 5th—gotta get those Christmas gift sales in!) or early 2020 (January 31st is one heck of a nice throwback ) feel incredibly feasible for a Part 1 release. One can hope! There's a rumor on FFVIIRemake Reddit about a November release for Part 1, but I think December would be more likely.

I'm leaning towards December 5th 2019, personally. I seriously think Remake—especially Part 1—is further along than most think.

Sure thing! I'll bump my guess up to December 7th 2019 because that VII's so crazy for the number 7. (I was pretty amused to hear that the LA. Concert's prices began at $77.77 U.S

I think I've seen half-jokes about July 7th when browsing the FFVIIRemake Reddit, but it would be hilariously amusing if we get a playable demo that day

I've seen people wondering about a playable demo at the E3, because the floorspace Square got is big and FFVIIR is basically the only AAA game that could justify this. Any opinion on this?

I think it's a sound theory. If true, it would definitely indicate the approach of an actual release.

On the VII Remake subreddit someone shared a link to the Axe of the Blood God podcast, where Kat Bailey, Editor in Chief of USgamer, said "sounds like the demo is gonna be coming out sooner rather than later" and "I know somebody who's played it". It's at 37:34 in the podcast. Now that's really interesting.
