you should set it to go into hibernate after a while anyways, imho. Sleep mode isn't supposed to last for two days, especially considering it'll still use power but not cool itself down.

If FFII were to be remade with updated graphics, revamped gameplay, and (greatly) expanded plot, dialogue, and characters, it would be one of the best FFs of all time. While most of the older FF can stand on their own feet, FFII really got the shaft in about...everything. It needs another look.

I just wish FFII and I got a revamp that makes it look like the KH series, minus the action style of KH and the RPG elements of X or XII, now that would've been cool <3

Well if they can do it FFXII style then I wholeheartedly agree. I kind of like nomura's style though, but his zipper bs pisses me off at times

FFII in FFXII's visual style would be the shit.
Too bad SE is predictable as fuck in their business decisions and we'll never see this ever. Even if the actual game was 'okay', it would be a refreshing change of pace as far as SE goes.
It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I'm straight up tired of it. There's no novelty in seeing it anymore, it's just about all I see.

Imo they should take notes from the dudes at Bioware or Atlus if they want some quality RPGs + good story telling. I say Atlus because Persona 4 is the best fucking game for the PS2 and ranks one of the best along with God of War II for its swan song.
Relying too much on Nomura's visual style and appeal + deconstructing some of their gameplay ( AGAIN LOOK AT THE MASTERPIECE OF XII AND LOOK AT XIII ) and giving us excuses that it would take 9000 years to make a game like XII with the gfx engine of 360 and PS3 would be worthwhile for SE.
I like Nomura's style, but I do agree this calls for a change of the guard to see other styles for once.
