Maybe, but there's something kinda clinical and odd by referring to genitals by their technical terms all of the time. I'd rather call a penis a dick than...a penis in certain situations.
Honestly one scenario that comes to mind is sex. I'd really rather not hear something like "Baby I want your PENIS inside of me" (I'm pretty bad at dirty talk on the fly for examples like these, but you get what I mean) or whatever, all the time.
