Having been to a quality steakhouse multiple times, I can safely say that I actually like to eat a range of meats done to different degrees. In fact, I will probably enjoy any good steak done to any degree, as long as it isn't just straight-up blue

if we're talking about burger patties then they're usually mostly processed at some point anyway and doing them fairly well done should be a standard for reasons more than for just taste

One of my uncles (actual blood-related uncle, not those Asian friend-of-a-father uncles) cooks some mean medium rare steaks with imbedded mint and rosemary that taste absolutely godly with a spot of Dijon mustard. They're very Christmas specials though, so I only end up experiencing those once a year ;-;

Ya, if it's not a steak burger, it's got to be well done or else you will get sick.

But steak I normally go for medium rare.

So I was thinking a little bit about Aaron's blurb on his profile

I never really thought about it, but that statement holds true to a lot of people, especially nowadays. But I also never really thought about how the concept of the 'American Dream' was always sorta foreign to me. Even as a kid when I first heard of a the concept, especially being a minority, I was all like; "The American Dream? Sounds gay".

I dunno, I think the whole concept is, well, it was fine in the 50s, but nowadays? Fuck the 'American Dream', I make my own dream.

This of course is in no way directed at Aaron (since I know what his intent is, but this is just an unrelated tangent), but yeah, like, the world owes me, you, or anyone else nothing. Want something? Grab it by the balls and take it, the world is yours.

Yeah, agreed. Though with that said, some people have a lot more opportunities to grab life by the balls than others, which is the real problem. Incidentally the quote in question is from the Dead Kennedys song "Well-Paid Scientist", which is from the early '80s, so it's held true for awhile.

So I just watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid (which was a TERRIBLE movie), and thought the kid that plays Roderick (Devon Bostick) was cute and he seemed familiar. So I looked him up on IMDB, and he hasn't done anything of note. But he did play young Ezio in Assassin's Creed: Legacy Lineage. I knew I liked that boy So now I need to go watch that again, lol.
