I always wondered how Mukki and his "Young Bubby's" club funded their adventures. I mean they're traveling around constantly, to the luxurious Costa Del Sol, snowboarding...I mean, I guess a man of his stature has options...

You guys are forgetting about the Honeybee Inn scenes with Mukki and the gang.

I can't wait for all the Clukki fanfics.

Clukki

Clukki

All I can picture in my head is some weird horrible amalgamation of Cloud and a chocobo

Kill it with fire

(I know my imagining is working on the premise of the incorrect pronunciation of Mukki please ignore that ok)

Providing male prostitutive services to Shinra senior management can be a lucrative undertaking. :monster:

I want to see this guy and that scene... I rewatched this part recently and it STILL gives me goosebumps because of how cool it is. I also think the music has a huge part to do with it, lol. Remake version though... I can see it being so much more epic. Also, Weapon causing a lot more damage than what it did, ha.

I thought about the same scene today and how they could improve it.

Your right, it would be alot better to see it actually destroy something. To make it more fearful, show it actually kill somebody. Maybe a few soldiers are in the direct line of its ray attack and they get vaporized in a terrifying way that looks like they were hit by a H-bomb. The scene should be treated as horror, not action fluff. Because I've always seen the weapons as creepy, not just big dumb monsters.

Couldn't agree with you more. You can tell the soldiers were scared out of their wits to abandon their posts (who wouldn't at that close range?); but it'd be something else if Weapon took notice of them fleeing and maybe did the ray attack horizontally, making the entire coast and edge of the canon damaged as well as killing anyone on it.

Even very simply having that beam he shoots drag across the entire face of the city instead of ONLY the very convenient Tifa's cell would make all the difference.

I'm not sure if it was in this thread or another, but I remember someone mentioning the scene where Cloud hits Aerith, but no one really replied about it. It reminded me of a comic I own where the scene is drawn out:

In this interpretation, Zack never died but I thought it'd be a good visual to accompany my post anyway so I took a photo. I wonder how they will address this scene in the Remake. My memory is fuzzy, but I think I remember Cloud repeatedly hitting her, but in HD graphics, I wonder how it will play out too, along with that previous poster.

They'll probably change it to a single hit. I remember watching an animated show that managed to get away with having a character repeatedly slammed into a wall and it looked pretty brutal. The longer you drag out that kind of thing, the more uncomfortable it is to watch and the more likely it'll be cut. 1 or 2 hits and then getting Tifa to knock him out before anything else happens is probably as dragged out as it'll get.

I want a more...ehm...graphic account of what happened under the highwind :P

Only kidding (sorta), but I would want us to be put out our misery with the love triangle debate.

I wouldnt mind seeing a bit more blood and guts with the death of Aeris :P

Ok I am done now.

Or they could show one hit and just have sound effects in the distance as the perspective switches to the other character jumping down into the ditch to stop him. There are a few ways they could handle that scene without being totally brutal about it.

I can live with Aerith's death staying bloodless as long as we get more blood in the flashback where Cloud and Sephiroth stab each-other. I don't want to get to Cloud stabbing Sephiroth with the Buster Sword and see

again. Lack of blood when Sephiroth cuts people up with the Masamune is one thing but it's infinitely more conspicuous with the Buster Sword.

All the talk about the M-Rated content in the game, and I just remembered a crucial scene, whose likelihood of remaining in the game I'm wondering about.

Will you still be able to steal Tifa's underwear in the Kalm flashback?

Seriously, though. I'm curious as to whether the whole "Tifa's House" section of the flashback will still be present. Being one of the parts of the flashback that was actually one of Cloud's memories instead of Zach's, I think it's a fairly important part, although I feel that it might be left out, due to being more....interactive, I guess, than the other places Cloud visits during that scene.

Exactly. I'm not usually one for blood and guts galore, but there are some cases in which showing some blood gives more dramatic weight to the scene. Take Zack's death in Crisis Core for instance. I was surprised at how much blood they showed in the scene, but glad all the same. It just wouldn't have the same effect if they him with 100+ bullet holes and only a tiny amount of blood.

I'm hoping that with the remake SE doesn't put on kiddie gloves for some of these scenes.

That's another thing, now that you bring it up.

Assuming they keep in the optional mansion flashback, do you think they'll have Zack's death be like it was in the OG, or alter it to make it more like Crisis Core's ending?

Maybe a combination of both. They'll probably leave out Zack's ascension to the Lifestream though, given that this won't be Zack's game.

Forgive me for not reading up on everything, but if each episode or what not is going to be a full length game, as I think I heard, I imagine there'll be a ton of side quests, and/or mandatory quests along the way to add to the story and flesh out the world. Therefore I think it'd be interesting if it was a bit Grand Theft Auto in places. Midgar could be easily fleshed out in that regard, but what about in and between Kalm and the Chocobo Farm, etc? The parts that don't take long to cross, or are otherwise -- dare I say -- boring. I think it'd be interesting to see more depth to the enemies you encounter (eg: prowlers, kalm fangs, custom sweepers, devil rides). Surely they belong somewhere, the product of some culture somewhere :P, and that could be expanded upon.

Okay, so today at work I was thinking to myself about how, because of Crisis Core, it's safe to assume that Tseng knew who Cloud was the whole time. Well, so would Cissnei. Did she run off with all of the other Turks in Before Crisis? Where was she during the events of the original game? Would it be possible to add her into the remake? It could add a layer of depth to the story.

I imagine a scene with Cissnei bursting into Tseng's office after seeing security footage of Avalanche blowing up one of the reactors. She slams the door shut and asks, "Tseng, do you realize who that is?"

To which he would reply, "Yes, I do. But let's wait and see how this plays out." Or something to that effect.

Or am I the only one who liked Cissnei and hopes she gets more screen time? :P

Maybe a combination of both. They'll probably leave out Zack's ascension to the Lifestream though, given that this won't be Zack's game.

And it was cheesy as hell. :monster:
