Sorry gaiz, I'm the one that has to be different.

I know I've said that money is an issue with this visit, but since I am a band geek, and since this may be the only Distant Worlds concert I'll get to attend in quite a while, I'm definitely have to sit in an orchestra seat.

I'm sorry, I just... I HAVE to be close enough for the music to blast my face off. :headbang:

Yeah, the cheapest seats are waaaaaaaay up there, which I'm not sure I'm totally cool with. I don't know if I have to sit in the orchestra section (although I'd love to, of course), but I definitely need to be somewhere better than the nosebleeds.

I'm browsing the map right now--Tier 1 seats are $89.00 and they're fairly close. They're right outside the orchestra seats.

Tier 2 seats are $79.00 and are almost in the middle of the auditorium, but you're still close.

What if we actually got seats in a box? They're right outside the orchestra seats I'm seeing some with like 6,7,8 spaces in them. Prices range from $79.00-$89.00. We'd all be together then, if everyone booked their tickets soon.

It looks like some people from KupoCon have already booked their tickets, because orchestra pit is more than halfway sold, it looks like.

So, I know everyone has just ordered their tickets for the convention, but it's coming down to the wire for seats here at Distant Worlds.

Yikes. That's starting to become a little spendy. :(

Yeah maybe not nosebleed but I'm going to have to ponder orchestra...

Edit: didn't see Lith's post. A box would be cool but let me ponder...

I like the box idea, I'd definitely be up for that but that's the highest I can go in terms of price. Section GT Box H, Section T1 Box K, Section GT Box D are completely empty, we can do any of those.

Sadly, and as sacrilege as this is for me the music man, but I will most likely not be able to attend DW! Le sad. Sorry but as it stands I'll be lucky to get the car for two days, let alone three. But hey if anybody can't make it, I'll be blasting all the Final Fantasy's soundtracks on repeat in my vehicular transport and mah room. :monster:

I was looking at tickets for the 8pm.

Looks like the 3pm still has some pretty decent seats left!

Why don't we head for that one and then go PARTAY afterwards??

Well guys, whatever any of us decides to do, we're all there for KupoCon, so if we can't all sit together it's no biggie.

But which times are we doing? 3pm or 8pm?

EDIT:

Not trying to hurry anyone, I just want to be in conjunction with everyone and I'm going to get my ticket before I go to work. Or actually, my grandmother is getting my ticket for whatever seat I choose with the meet and greet afterwards, and when I get paid again I'm repaying her in full when I go down to Florida for 4th of July weekend.

I'm so thankful I have a grandma who understands my love for 'this nerd stuff'. :lol:
