Just watched The Bank Job. I thought it would of been just another boring bank robbery movie but its a true story based on British government corruption. Which revolves around a bank robbery. :monster:

We watched loads of movies during the 12 hour bus trips, let's see if I can remember them all.

Hitman

Good movie, better than I expected actually (it being a game adaptation and the trailers making it look like the dude being some James Bond-ish pimp). Didn't really get the story properly though, I mean, why were the other codename dudes after 47, and why were they pointing guns at each other in the tram instead of just doing 47 like their job was?

Dawn of the Dead

Awesome in itself for being the ultimate zombie (shooter) movie. Not convinced it's actually a 'good' movie with the main plotline / progress being pretty unoriginal, but it was stylish enough.

Enemy at the Gates

I think I've seen the center bit of this one, and it's a bit (too?) long, but that's not a bad thing. Awesome movie overall, and it really shows how much the Call of Duty (game) series has stoeled from war movies, :monster:.

Return trip was worse, with erm, can't remember the first one, Basic being the second one which I've seen before. It's got loads of dun dun duuun plot twists and whatnot, but I slept halfway through the movie.

After that one we saw a bit of erm, that movie with Leonardo di Caprio and Robin Williams, which I'm sure is a good movie but I never watched it to the end.

The movies on the return trip were pretty meh, imho.

THIS IS ..Oh you know the rest :P
I saw it going cheap so I thought I'd pick it up (I missed it at the cinema) and it's good if a bit on the short side (and I thought the way king leonidas and his lot ended up was rubbish but whatever.)

The last movie that I watched was "Narnia: Prince of Caspian". It was very interesting and the CG was beautiful. I think it was well acted out and has a great point to the story over all. =)

Great film staring Tony Jaa. The plot is about a guy who goes after robbers who have stolen his villages Buddha statue. But what's really great about this film is that the actors don't use any kind of wire-work or stunt-doubles and there's absolutly no cgi. Very entertaining indeed.

Awesome film, kuno.

If you ever get into thai films, check out Tears of the Black Tiger

Probably the strangest film I've seen yet. And just as good (but more violent) than his latest
Citizen Dog

Wisit is a really bizarre director.

I just re-watched Ravenous the other day. And I liked it just as much as the first time. I don't know exactly why, but it just might be because of this line: "He was licking me!"

Yeah.

I really didn't get hooked on it. It was okay but it just seemed a little stupid to me.

Nope, not yet, unfortunately.
If there were, I'd get it in an instant. LOTR belongs to the kind of movies I'd probably always buy again and again whenever a better version comes out. :duhard:
That, and Star Wars. :monster:

I'll watch Wall-E later on this evening. Heard good things about it. :duhard:

I've mostly been on a retro-fest, when it comes to films; stuff like Ghostbusters, Gremlins and 48 Hours. I'm watching the second of the latter as we speak, actually.
