I guess I should note that when I put "human" I meant the physical entities created by Lindzei.

What part is confusing?

It is mentioned in one of the Datalogs that the Yeuls are a transformation of Chaos. I've never actually seen Mwynn mentioned in this game ~_~.

Do you know what is meant by "...a transformation of Chaos..."? Honestly, unless Yeul is Mwynn transformed.

It means Yeul is the physical form of Chaos.

I don't know where you're getting Yeul = Mwynn from... @_@

What part is confusing?

The soul being borne from Chaos part. Supposedly, the soul vessel already came upon when Lindzei crafted humans. So Etro's blood must have some elements of Chaos already if Chaos really do make up a soul. That brings up another confusion, on what types of Chaos are there/their different functions. Like what's the difference of the Chaos that made up the soul and the Chaos pieces Etro gives them?

It means Yeul is the physical form of Chaos.

Yeul's origin has become even more confusing.

Yeul = Mwynn was one of the first theories out there, but I agree, I don't think Mwynn plays a part here.

I tried looking for fal'Cie Pandemonium in Yusnaan but failed. :(
He's the man-made one in Yusnaan that supplies food to the world. He was briefly mentioned in the game and is apparently the last active fal'Cie.

PS: Apparently nobody read Fragments After because people online think this fal'Cie is the one that made Snow a l'Cie XD.

Because Mwynn pretty much could control when she melded with the chaos. Of course, that is if you take how she waited for Etro, bestowed upon Etro her powers and a focus, and then all of a sudden vanished into the chaos.

Of course, the original myth said she was melding into it when Etro found her, I believe. Hmmm... I just still think Mwynn was one with the Chaos. Either she was the original embodiment or she was a direct child of it, she seemed to be able to control it.

That's me though. My thinking. Until the Ultimania(s) say otherwise...

I don't think there are any more man made fal'Cie. Adam was to be the first, and last, then never got to be at all. And even in that, Adam was really a part of Eden! (My reason for disliking Hope.)

From what I understand, Mwynn was killed by Bhunivelze and then ended up in the Unseen World. Then, when Etro died and went to Unseen World, she(?) saw that Mwynn was being absorbed into the chaos. Then, Mwynn entrusted Etro with the task of regulating the flow of souls. (I think this stuff is from the 13 Ultimania Omega?)

Hope specifically says in LRFF that the man-made fal'Cie Pandemonium is in Yusnaan and produces food for Nova Crystallia.

Not sure you'd find it in any of XIII's books, since those were mostly short on the wider mythos stuff (I think you only get mention of the three god-fal'Cie by name). But XIII-2's Omega has a section on the Fabula Nova Crystallis mythology based on that video they released (I didn't read all of it because it had Type-0 stuff which I hadn't played at the time and still haven't finished at this time :sadpanda: ).

I thought Type-0 took a different approach to the FNC mythos... Same entities, different interpretation/applications, type of thing.

On that page there was a bit where they describe how different games treated certain things, like what l'Cie are in FFXIII and what they are in Type-0. I just didn't want to read about what Type-0 did with it until I played it.

Ah, fair enough. Probably wouldn't even spoil anything for you at this point then. Enjoy the rest. I assume you don't know what's going to happen, so ... yes, enjoy. :awesome:

which novel

i only have the first one so far

which i haven't started :sadpanda:

I don't know which one. The novel happens before the game during another cycle. Took me a moment to find the exact quote.

As they rushed to escaped from Makutai on chocobos, 13 Knights descended from the sky, destroying everything in their paths. Some using swords, some with magic. Soon, the earth was smeared red; the color of fire; the color of Byakko soldiers' blood; the color of Suzaku''s flag.

The Knights of the Round Ancient Eidolon summoned by l'Cie Kurasame raged for about 30 minutes, bringing about massive damage on the Byakko Army. The death count was recorded as 238, 521 fatalities. Byakko's Type-B l'Cie Qator miraculously escaped and returned to Ingram, but their Type-A l'Cie, Nimbus, lasted 19 minutes against the summon before being stabbed by a sword of a Knight. Taking advantage of the situation, Suzaku launched an all-out offensive attack on Byakko, cutting their way to the Byakko Capital of Ingram.

It's been such a long while since I got my head wrapped into Type-0's plot and mythos. Hopefully once the English patch comes out in a few weeks I can get back to it and reread the novels..

"I was just rereading the voice-actor interviews included within the Final Fantasy XIII Ultimania Omega, and I thought it would be fun to translate them all.

There are A LOT of interesting facts shared in these interviews. For example, did you know that Snow’s name was originally planned to be “Storm”? And did you know that, before she knew what Lieutenant Amodar looked like, Sakamoto Maaya (Lightning) assumed that Amodar was Lightning’s crush and accidentally made her character sound like a love-struck girl? LOL

Like I said, there are many fun and interesting details scattered throughout these interviews, and I thought it would be good to translate them for the community. So…what do you guys think? Is anyone interested? ^^;"

I'm not sure, are these posters in the game?

Off topic, but did anyone translate 夢見る繭、暁に墜つ from FF13 UO yet? I was going to do that at some point. (Actually, I did a few paragraphs already)

Yes, they are all in Yusnaan.

There is a copy of the very first one is just right of where you disembark from the Yusnaan train.

This is in a back alley:

Here are another two posters in the background which can be examined (note the reticles):

There are quite a few songs within the game that aren't in the OST... for example, the npc playing "live music" by the food vendor in the Dead Dunes at Monoculus HQ. Also, the OST only has the English version of the song played by the guitar player standing opposite the blacksmith/ability upgrader npcs in NE Luxerion. Guess we'll have to wait for the Soundtrack PLUS!

Wildlands 1 - Don't recall hearing part 1, but part 2 is "Sazh and Dajh" which plays at the end of Sazh's storyline.
Wildlands 2 - sounds like it would be in Etro's Shrine... but I don't remember hearing it ._.
