I was specifically referring to the version with the high five + Cloud going home to sex Tifa. But that's pretty much exactly the kind of reaction pinkers would have to an ending with Zack sexing Aerith

I just took a look at the screens on first page and immediately noticed.

This visual kind of mirroring is used lots of times, including the eye flashes before Cloud saves Tifa & Denzel, where not only does Denzel's body position mirror Zack's, but they are both against numerous enemies. Similarly, Tifa is unaware of falling building from above like Aeris is unaware of falling Sephy from above.

This isn't me being rabid. It's a repeated pattern

The Clerii seeing floating ribbons is rabid.

Cloud would definitely know that Zack and Aerith were an item. Zack's folks in Gongaga asked about their little SOLDIER by name and Aerith even said straight out Zack was her first love. Besides, I expect that Zack would've at least mentioned her name while he and Cloud were on the run for that year.

Though that does remind me, is Reminiscence revised?

There's no change to Reminiscence of FFVII, from what I can recall. The game footage is the same, and the conversations Cloud has with the gang sounds the same. And the other Reminiscence feature brings in the Zack/Aerith from CC; there's probably enough Z/A in the compilation now to fill in the Grand Canyon.

I'm pretty sure the part where Zack says, "If you see Aerith, say 'hi' for me" is part of his monologue after he passes, so Cloud didn't get to hear that.
Still, I think that - considering them being close friends - Zack must have mentioned at least once. And it seemed like almost everyone knew about his love life anyway. Even Sephiroth was all for it ....until he went ballistics.

Exactly. I think it would be great if they joined. You know, bring their complaints about us out into the open and say it to our faces, thus giving us a chance to actually defend ourselves. We obviously can't go to their forum because they'll erase our posts and ban us like the totalitarian dictatorship that they are. But they could totally come here if they have a bone to pick.

It's kind of creepy to think that out there, somewhere, the peeps from that forum just might be lurking, unknown to us, waiting for anything and everything that can be taken back to their master. XD

Okay, I'm tired and maybe this makes no sense to anyone but me, but having watched ACC a couple of times now, and being of relative intelligence, I'd say that the Buster Sword is in the church as a sign that Cloud has finally let go of his guilt. The sword was used as a marker, a place for him to grieve and mope over his failure, but now, he's been forgiven and the sword is moved to a proper resting place...with the OTHER person whom he required forgiveness from. (Not to mention enabling awesome Freudian innuendo)

Also, the last line about a "hero" and his journey is Cloud referencing...Cloud. Unbelievable, I know, but he finally accepts his role as hero. About damn time.

Well, not only that, but we do go a bit far sometimes, and maybe if they joined the forum would be more balanced. Though, I will admit that there are just some people I wouldn't like seeing joining this forum, as the only thing that would happen is... well, drama.
