Yeah I'm not saying that "it's in past tense" should be an argument but the whole story IS in past tense and people keep writing that one statement as if it should be in present tense. That's what's bugging me.

Actually, not sure if I disagree or agree on that one. The original FF7 game had it up to debate who Cloud left. It was the Compilation and the Ultimanias, and other auxiliary materials, that cemented it as canon.

You know. MotA seems like a sweet kid and all. But she is yet another one that can't seems to accept the fact that they were wrong.

Honestly her koibito essay starts from the idea that Cloud and Aerith were in fact in love and/or a couple. And tries to prove this point with every little bit of ...well piss poor evidence.

How long have the cleriths been asked to prove that Cloud loved Aertih at all? Let alone an actual relationship?

I still hate debating against Cleriths because honestly, I really do think that we (by we I mean me vs. you guys) share different views on how SE feels about C/A as a pairing. I consider those to be pretty legitimate evidence. even though yes, she is wrong.

BUT ANYWAYS I really want some sort of Lion King voiceover on AC. Or vice versa. This would make me extremely happy SOMEONE MAKE THIS HAPPEN PLS

To be fair, she has said Cloti is now canon. Frankly as long as they admit Cloti is canon now, I don't really care what they say about CxA. And really Cloud probably did have some feelings for Aerith and she had some for him... that's debatable but I can certainly see where the argument comes from.

Q it is one thing to say cloud might possibly have felt something for Aerith on disk one of the game. But to go and say something like this?

Except that's not what she said, at least I never got the impression that she said they had a relationship. I mean her whole basis is that other people saw that Cloud loved Aerith and I always just thought she meant those two had mutual feelings, but not so much that they were in a relationship
