Dunno. Communists?
Who doesn't?
WTF do you think the lifestream sequence was about? Cloud and Tifa realizing they both like pie?Yep, fact. The game never says who Cloud loves. The burden's on you to say where it does. Several times, my ass. Prove it.
WTF do you think the lifestream sequence was about? Cloud and Tifa realizing they both like pie?
You have provided no proof whatsoever that Cloud could love both girls so I'm calling troll. Until you provided some evidence I won't reply to you because obvious troll is fricken obvious.
Hence my displeasure at his behavior. Porn or GTFO.
First off, Hi Null.
Second off, fuck your new criticism bullshit.
Third off, even if 'commentary' cannot alter the contents of the canon, it is still entirely capable of COMMENTING on it, on elucidating things which were not already clear.
Even were it not clear in the canon that Cloud has made his choice, it's entirely possible for creator notes to shed light on such.
Much the same way that the Balrog not making ANY noise, in fact, being entirely and unnaturally quiet, was not spoken of positively or negatively in Fellowship, but revealed in later correspondence.
In any case, the statement 'a work stands on its own merit' does not mean that creator commentary is irrelevant to the story that is told. It means that what a creator was trying to do and what they did do are two entirely different things. It doesn't mean ALL creator comments are irrelevant, it means you can't go 'But SMeyer was trying to portray true love, so she DID!', though you still can go 'J.K. Rowling said X character is gay and there are this many wizards in Britian'
Null, you've got a bit of Dr. House in you, ya know.
Still didn't answer my question.
Ignoring it won't make it go away.
NO U
If I'm a troll, you're just feeding me, right? Are you really sure you want this dance?
But I hate basketball.
Yeah, that's why you just couldn't wait to run to SoCal.
Traitor.
Gumball head.
No no, see, earthquakes > tornadoes.
Now answer Quex's question. Whatever it was.
I don't think you even remember what I wrote in the first place. Get it together.
Yep, fact. The game never says who Cloud loves. The burden's on you to say where it does. Several times, my ass. Prove it.
But if you're not up to real debate, don't feel like typing, realize you said something incredibly fucking dumb and you're in way over your head, it's ok. I know you just can't resist responding, even if you have NOTHING but weak smack. It's not your fault I basically have this conversation and, in fact, you yourself, under my complete control. _I_ am doing the chewing here. You're just my tennis ball, my rubber toy here to amuse me while I wait for the Spurs/Mavericks game to start, which kinda drags here on the east coast. Dance, my puppet, dance!
No, I'm a grownup. I don't keep those silly things around, what grownup needs to read books about books.
So love stories can't have love?
*snore*
More claims, lying about backing them, yeah back to ... *zzzzzz*
You cared enough to respond. Control, puppet, etc. Already covered that.
Hello, Google/Wikipedia/dictionary/education. Look up straw man. You don't seem to get what it is.
Doesn't running in a circle get old?
It's called lazy + hiding behind other posters as your champions. I'm not wading through all that crap (unless I was part of the conversation, then I find it engaging)
Sure. He reached for her hand and smiled. Romance!
Look, Larry Bird - er, FFG is not walking through that door. I'm the best you're gonna get in this forum, sweetheart. And you jumped on my posts pretty quick, so don't lie and say y'all aren't DYING for someone to lock horns with.
I asked you what the Lifestream sequence was about.I already offered proof that I could see how Cloud could love either one. Buried somewhere in my square dance / two step / ho down with FHS. I don't think the peeps read my statements carefully enough.
