In the Clerith fantasy, yes, if that woman were desperate enough. For example, Tifa continues to force herself on Cloud even though she knows that he can only feel whole with Aerith's true love.

Basicall, by saying this, didn't Cloud just push Tifa above everyone else? That he was himself thanks to her? [which actually became true later on].

I've always thought that the conversation they shared in CoT where he told her that he'll be okay because he has Tifa with him was something of a continuation to this as he again places her in a similar pivotal role.

Well, I understood it as

Xion was a replica created from Sora's memories of Kairi. Not his sum total memories of her made physically manifest.

Which means that as a replica, she still is an individual being. A created life but a life nonetheless.

So if that's the case, that's another individual who is now inhabiting his body, along with his other persona, Roxas.

Technically speaking, the minute Xion was born and became a separate entity, she became more than just another extant of Sora. She's a replica being, connected to Sora.

So I'd consider it a threesome.

Ask the person you are debating with if they are debating what's canon, or what their interpretation is. Remind them that you can't pick and choose your canon, the way so many people tend to do. Canon is a seperate entity from your own interpretation.

The Ultimanias are meant to settle what is canon, or in another term, what the truth of the story is meant to be.

Sometimes if people were being really stupid about it I'd give them a history lesson on what the word's original meaning was. (Hint: has to do with the books of the Bible).

If they want to ignore the Ultimanias, then they can't be debating canon. If they want to discuss personal interpretation, that's a whole other topic.
