It's going to be really hard to lose them, and I'm not looking forward to rewriting that moment in my LIfestream revision either considering I've been putting so much more time and development into them this time around, really fleshing them out. You get so used to having them around, and then the story feels almost empty when they're gone.

That dinner at Jessie's place. It would be cool and funny if, sometime after Jessie goes upstairs, her folks send Cloud up to let her know the food's almost ready, but when he gets up there, he finds she's not in her room but in the bathroom. Knocks on the door, and it opens to show her in nothing but a towel, having just gotten out of the shower. Could be a moment of pure attraction between them, just standing there gaping at each other - Cloud stunned at seeing her like that and Jessie just as surprised that her crush caught her that way. And it would be hilarious watching Cloud struggle to figure out what to say. I have the feeling Jessie would recover first and make some kind of flirt out of it. If SE did this, Aerith and Tifa could keep their Wall Market dresses. Wet Jessie in a towel would top any of them for sure.

Looks like it is set just before the second bombing mission cause I saw Jessie hold up a security card id so likely just before that mission but I could be wrong though Jessie pumping her fist give me joy! Lol

Getting to meet Jessie's parents. The way he phrased it - "Like a scene where you end up meeting Jessie's parents, having dinner." - doesn't really specify whether it's just Cloud that meets them or the whole group, though I don't that she'd spring a whole team of strangers on her folks like that. Also, and more interestingly, Nomura's wording doesn't specify whether said dinner will be with Jessie and her parents together or just Jessie herself. Personally, I hope for the latter, but either one's good. It'll be interesting for Cloud either way. And being at her place might also leave open the possibility of seeing her in another outfit, since I don't know if she'd stay in her armor at her own house. She might go upstairs to change or something and maybe let her hair down.

Nomura is usually pretty closed mouth on things might have said it in such way to surprise us

Hoooooly shit. Apologies for double posting, but I'm freaking out right now. I was browsing pixiv for... uh... reasons when I found this artist from fucking 2009 who was drawing Clessie art! Like holy shit, talk about ahead of the curve. Check it out:

I'm the sort of person who finds extreme amounts of novelty in the oddest places, and these pictures are really special to me for some reason. Its like, wow, some random person in Japan saw value in this character a decade ago. Here I was thinking I was cool for liking her and doing fan art in 2014. I'm also kind of a sucker for what I'm going to call "High School anime art." There's something so pure and ernest about it compared to other artwork, its all done for passion and not anything else. I would never want to go back to drawing like that, mind you.

I have a question of morals for the kids here. I've been dying to try coloring somebody else's pencils for a while now, and I really want to color a couple of these, but I have no way of getting permission. Thoughts?

Those are really nice! I think it'd be fine to color them as long as you make it clear who the original artist was. And it would have been great to be able to have her in those moments in the game. Funny, somebody had the idea of her knowing Cait before I did, lol. No big, it's a nice drawing.

Trouble is, the paper is getting kinda messed up from multiple goes at drawing and erasing over and over, definitely a downside to doing physical art rather than purely digital.

At first it was just raw cheapness that was preventing me from getting a tablet, but my current method of coloring really only works with a pencil sketch. I import the drawing into photoshop, trace over the thing, then color it, then overlay the pencils on to the color. It's kinda hard to explain. If you saw what that Jessie and Marlene picture looked like without the overlayed pencils, you'd be amazed by how terrible it looks.

I guess it just depends on what you really want to spend money on huh? I'm cheap with drawing supplies, but have spent over $1000 on traditional bookmaking supplies.

I do get what you're saying about your process though. How long have you been using photoshop?
