I could try to draw it again, but I'm usually kinda bad at that. I don't think I'd be able to get Cloud to look the same. The current drawing isn't beyond salvaging yet, I just need to be careful.

Part of me would like to adapt to the times of using digital art. I enjoy drawing with a pencil too much though. Plus, it's a lot cheaper

At first it was just raw cheapness that was preventing me from getting a tablet, but my current method of coloring really only works with a pencil sketch. I import the drawing into photoshop, trace over the thing, then color it, then overlay the pencils on to the color. It's kinda hard to explain. If you saw what that Jessie and Marlene picture looked like without the overlayed pencils, you'd be amazed by how terrible it looks.

Yeah, I have a hard time imagining drawing without the physical feedback that comes with a pencil and paper. Also, didn't know you drew. Feel like sharing?

I guess it just depends on what you really want to spend money on huh? I'm cheap with drawing supplies, but have spent over $1000 on traditional bookmaking supplies.

Very cool! I hate having to use computers, so I struggle with wanting to use em for art, if I don't have to.

I'm working on writing a book based around Jenova's lore, so I'll do everything that has to do with making the actual book myself.
I already started one for a music album I'm working on. Instead of doing a traditional CD booklet, I decided to do a traditional leather book. I already stitched the pages and bound it. I just have to get the gold gilding process down, and it'll be done

Or am I thinking of someone else? In any case I'm just a shmuck who does art as a hobby, so Photoshop is good enough for me, but I respect the peole who really dedicate themselves to the craft.

Ehhh, idk? I've done a couple art galleries. The most recent was in October. I just do art as a hobby as well, so I'm right there with you! But, I do like getting my art out there now You should do the same!
