I love that despite the hardships she had to face even at such an early age, she just wanted to live as best as she could, taking joy in the simple things and having a great appreciation for life. There's just something alluring about her that draws people in. A rare gem for sure.

Despite having her death being pivotal to the plot, it would have been interesting to see if Aerith had lived. After all had been settled, maybe she would have the chance to see more of the world. I always felt a sense of longing with her. She lived in confinement at the Shinra labs until she was seven and spent most of her life in the slums. The church seemed like her only sanctuary. It was only when she met Cloud and the others that she was able to see the outside world.
