What time of day would you guys be recording? I probably can't make it, but it would be nice to know.

My best available times are usually after work, so after 11 p.m. on the east coast of the U.S. I know that's not great for European folks who would be interested, so I'm open to suggestions.

Available pretty much any day and time is not a factor, as long as it's set in stone here I'll be there. There are the active VII topics on the board we could discuss aswell, but I like what's been brought up already.

Marcus does have a good voice, I'll ask him if he's available. I'm pretty sure he'd like to join in. INVASION OF THE BRITS

I won't be available for this the rest of this week. I'm working 12-hour shifts Monday through Saturday this week, and then I'm not doing shit but relax Sunday.

Whenever the next podcast is done, I seriously think a topic that demands a lot of discussion at this point is FFXIV. Now, I haven't played it at all, so I can't comment, but there are a lot of us on the site who are playing it.

Well maybe we should start up an availability sheet or something so we know when we can record etc. Google drive is a good port of call for that kind of thing

As for organising/ leading it, *runs away*

If you really don't want to do it I can try to start organising things on Monday re: spreadsheet etc, but I was hoping you and me would finally be in some audio together

I just listened to it again (mostly for Lex's sexy voice ) and I kind of think this was our strongest podcast. If we did this more often, we would really be hitting our stride here, I think.

Just got to find a time that works for everyone who wants to be in on one. What's your availability look like? For Ryu, Carlie and I, we typically do them (when we do them) late at night in terms of the east coast the United States -- not that folks elsewhere can't put together one at their leisure/convenience.

I listened to the first part - admittedly for Lex's sexy voice - and it was really easy to listen to and follow. Some podcasts get fluffed out with awkwardness/banter/ boring chit chat/ announcing announcements - stuff like that, but I really liked how you guys kept it informal while staying on topic and moved the discussion on at a good pace. It sounded very professional and accessible. And it was actually rather nice to listen to all your voices, you all have a great rhythm of dialogue going.


There is one comment I would make though and it's probably not even worth mentioning TBH. It might be worth having a think about swearing/cursing in relation to what you want these podcasts to do in the future. While it's appropriate in the current register it's being used in, if you're going to hold it up for scrutiny as part of what you do for things like E3, it may be worth doing the podcast in a register that is deemed acceptable/accessible for all.

I'm not against swearing/cursing at all, in fact I thought it added a nice sincerity to the podcast. I'm just well into discourse analysis and can't switch that part of my head off I'm afraid.
