That's fucking ridiculous. That's not what it's been like before at all you faghat. Capcom has never taken that long with anything. They're not fucking Valve.

And if they just shit out another game like Re5 then it won't be worth anything. They spent 4 1/2 years on 5 and all it turned out to be was a ripoff of Re4 in almost every way with prettier graphics, less personality, and more frustrating scernarios and less memorable encounters.

But there's no way it hell it will take that long anyway. They're not going to have one of their biggest earners out of the limelight for that long.

The idea of a tiny inventory that doesn't pause the game put me off getting it, and I don't know enough about the story for that to make me want to get it.

I'd also like to point out that the game is nowhere near as long as Re4, and one of the boss battles is an outright pain in the ass. It's not fun at all, the foe you face is a direct ripoff from one in Re4.

Oh yeah, the game is definitely fun. Moreso with a friend. My brother and I have beaten it at least four times, and played the hell out of mercs.

I plan on doing professional when I'm not so burned out on it.

Bring something with infinite ammo, and do your best not to get hit. At all. Cuz you'll die almost immediately. I've been using the Hydra and Sig P226 with Sheva's Longbow for my main weapons. I've got Chris decked out with the Jail Breaker and gatling gun for support.

I'd also suggest investing in proximity mines, they're really helpful with a lot of the encounters. The rest of my inventory slots are filled with first aid spray. I've also memorized the locations of spawn points and shit, in preparation for the more difficult parts, like when everyone has guns.

That makes the game manageable on pro for me.

Yeah, I know. I've already unlocked a boatload of weapons. Got the shotgun, machine gun and pistol with unlimited ammo. Those are my favorites, but I want to unlock the rocket launcher with infinite ammo as well. I started playing professional the morning we beat vet, but learned that you die in about one hit. I'm just not ready to deal with the anticipated frustration, obviously.

They even said that they hope it would only take 4 which is the usual time they have been. Meaning THATS the time frame they'd want and shoot for. Don't get an aneurysm at them being pessimistic at the development process. It's not set in stone.

Ganados didn't have fucking guns. Pro on Re4 was easy. It's about the same level of difficulty of veteran on Re5.

You must suck at the game. Re4 on pro is just Re4 with enemies that have more health and cause a little more damage. Using the vest makes their attacks easier to deal with too.

I just tried the section of the demo I didn't do before, Shanty Town, but didn't finish it because Sheva died. Maybe that was my fault for running into a corner with a chainsaw guy chasing me, but she could have ran away

I think I might need another pad and someone to play it with.

It isn't that hard. It's basically the same game with enemies with more health that can do a little more damage. They didn't really add anything else to the game to make it more difficult.

Once you get used to the changes, it's not really any harder than the normal difficulty.

Well you have no fucking clue..how many tries it took me to get that Five star S rank on Water World with Leon. I think I burned 1 hour of my life or more trying to do it. It was not easy for me. I worked hard for that rank.

And you have no idea how right you are. Fucking end up burning through all my herbs and first aid sprays before I even get to revealing the lever and turning it to reveal the stairs. It's so fucked up.

In re5 the enemies get a lot more aggressive on pro, and they barely drop ammo at all. Couple that with the fact that you can be killed instantly, and it can be really hard if you don't think around the issues.
