Site Staff Revamp/ Restructuring

Uh originally I thought that setting a colour for a user title wouldn't override custom colours set in the User CP, but I was wrong. For some reason it just took about 10 minutes for mine to show up the way it's supposed to.

You may need to rebuild user titles/ranks for that to work correctly. If you didn't, it may have been that it didn't update until you posted.

If I click the link to rebuild user titles and ranks, I get a message saying I don't have permission to do that

Oh. Gutted. You should now, I hope. I'd recommend just using the Update Counters part of the Maintenance menu. Some of that other stuff is probably easy to break.

Also, remember ctrl + f5 to clear cache/ refresh CSS when you get fiddling with the colours.

Sorry fangu I only just saw this. That is indeed a pretty colour

However, I'm now swayed by how pretty said colour is on your postbit with the green also. It clashes horribly with gold (me, Flint, Lic) but goes so well with yours I'm just going to steamroll ahead with these for now

As I said on Skype, 1) it'll always be the Staff Emeritus colour to me, and 3) I much prefer my blue

As for title, i'm not really bothered. I won't have much time, and I'm not technically inclined. So I'm not sure I'll be of much help.

I do think you need a title for your contributions re: audiobooks though even if you're not going to be working on the graphics side of things. Site Author really just doesn't do for you.

As far as my title goes, I'm not quite sure what else to say. I'd love to help out by physically editing things (articles, etc.), so if it seems necessary that I have a title that reflects that, well, then...something with the word "editor" in it would be fine with me! Or even just whatever. I'm really not picky about this at all.

I mentioned it before, but the role you are taking on is essentially that of a sub-editor, or a copy editor in the US. So one of those could work as your title.

dragon age

Added user title for Obs, requested a few articles be published in (I think 3) different threads. Messed about in Wordpress.

But seriously, Dragon Age. I'll write said articles myself if I have to because we haven't established/ cemented these changes yet (and people have yet to respond to these requests), but I think we'll just have to move forward as is because I don't see us getting a merch editor right now.
