No, but on the other hand, it's okay to comment on your first impression of what you think about a character before you see a good bit of them, because opinions evolve and change with the more information you know. It's human nature to have a first impression, informed or not, and that's totally okay as long as you're open to finding out more.

While the article is very interesting, it's worth noting that FFXIII has less than half as many reviews as FFXII.

I think it's going to be a few months before that little segment is more accurate.

Is that because you know FFXIII is next? You know it's going to happen.

I don't care about Compilations as long as they're at least good. Sequels and prequels are not inherently bad. If they're done with a touch of care.

Considering there already is a compilation for FFXIII, there's not really any 'next' about that happening :monster: The difference between the Compilation of FFVII and FFXIII/Fabula Nova Crystallis is that with FFVII they were adding to something that was already finished years ago, whereas FNC has been created with having multiple titles in mind from the start. Which hopefully will mean everything holds up to being spread out.

Plus, I don't think their stories are related are they? Or if they are, only vaguely so.

I remember the old days, you waited for the next one big Final Fantasy and you knew you were gonna be away loving it for 3 months.

Nothing wrong with X-2 at all. It was a solid, and fun game packed with content to keep you entertained and playing. Haters need to stfu and recognize X-2 as a lighthearted game of fun, and silliness. Not every FF has to take itself seriously with the melodrama. I see it as an example of a good sequel that emphasized enjoyment and gameplay.

I didn't like X-2's characters, lighthearted tone, or plot at all. Hated the mission structure too.

It was a fun game though.

It had it's really touching moments too, I loved those parts! Especially if you get the sad ending. *sobs* And I cried during 1,000 words because I'm a baby. =P

I would prob have played FFx-2 past tjhe first hour had it not been a sequel that was destroying X's story, and had it not had that awful charlies angels setup...

It was too embarrassing to play but I hear the gameplay was top notch.

It really doesn't destroy FFX's story though. FFX-2 shows the world of Spira rebuilding after the terrible, depressing hell they endured under the shadow of Sin. It's only natural that there would be factional in-fighting coupled with folks trying to enjoy the life and freedom that their environment and oppressive religion denied them for thousands of years.

...And I loved Charlie's Angels. :awesome:

mako, seriously, let's be real here. They changed Yuna's character and even retconned Tidus' ending...it can't get much worse. The whole game was cringeworthy
