Sooooo, this is an Episode III-related post, but if you're a Star Wars fan - especially of the Machete Order like myself, it's fucking gold. This's a really solid theory that explains why Padmé actually died that lets the worst bit of Episode III fade away. As far as I'm concerned, this fits right in with Leia's latent connection to The Force allowing her to be able to remember her mother (which Episode III also totally fucked).

^^I like this theory. It plausibly fixes what I though was the worst OOC moment for Vader in the film, which is him asking about Padme. As in, I couldn't reconcile Vader asking for Padme only for him to never mention her even in passing in IV-VI. This really helps explain that away nicely. It also gives him a few more reasons to kill Palpatine in VI...
