So I watched the second half of S1 today (you might be able to tell I have a lot of free time on my hands :wacky: ) and shit was good.

I didn't expect the Inquisitor to go out so soon. Was a good fight though. Also liked how he did the spinny bullshit and Kanan just cut into the completely unguarded hilt. Yeah, he ain't impressed with your gimmick shitsaber.
Ezra's saber on the other hand is more "Awesome But Practical". Good job, kid.

Ahsoka I already got spoiled, but yeah, good to see her again.

Looks like S2 is gonna be about the actual united rebel alliance. We have just taken our first step into a larger world...

Well, I hope the show continues to get better and that Disney won't axe it too soon although somehow I have a gut feeling this won't make it past S2 or S3.

Also, having just finished TCW on Blu-ray, the downgrade in visuals is even more apparent. Everything is so barren and dull looking compared to TCW. People like to shit on Lucas, but he pumped money into that series just because he could and gave no fucks and it showed.
Rebels on the other hand focuses on just one planet with mostly plain fields and lots of reused locations definitely not just for story reasons but for budget as well. A shame, but it can't be helped.

I'm downright terrified of what his apparent suicide means -- especially because there are rumors about Episode VII being connected to the inquisitors. Plus, if Darth Maul is anything to go by -- NEVER trust that a double-bladed lightsaber wielding badass falling to his death in the finale of the first chapter means that he is gone for good.

Having the Inquisitor hang on, after such a failure, having captured this Jedi and let him go - It’s really a problem for the Inquisitor because he knows that Vader and the Emperor will not suffer this failure. He knows what they could do to him is, to him, worse than death.

(...)An Inquisitor though, he says, there are some things far more frightening than death, which is an interesting thing for him that I’ll let people puzzle over what it means. It’s not accidental, the way he perishes. And he does perish. This isn’t me being sneaky or clever, having him fall off screen. I know that once Maul got cut in half, pretty much everyone was like, “He could be alive!” But I don’t see that happening.

Dear GOD, Ahsoka is just phenomenal. I got chills watching this scene, and I can even imagine what will happen when she eventually reaches a point where she confronts Vader.

Don't watch if you don't want to get massively spoiled. And man, you really have to adjust your expectations for what they were willing to do in this cartoon but were holding back for post_TFA.

"There's always a bit of truth in Legends"

- That's a brilliant way of hinting at the little pieces of the EXU that're still making themselves into the new canon.

Also, I was totally hooked on this, even before the "Old Master" was revealed at which point I pretty much lost my mind with excitement. I think Yoda looks a little odd, but I like that he looks old at least as in he's starting to age.

I am REALLY excited to see all the new canon stuff that this sets up though.
