"Star Wars Rebels" may bring Grand Admiral Thrawn into the new continuity

I would die with excitement if that happened. They did amazingly with Tarkin, and I'd love to see Thrawn come ofut of Legends and into canon. For a lot of fans, that'd be close to an "Ahsoka reveal" moment.

I'm still holding out to some little references to Shadows of the Empire at some point. During the Clone Wars, Darth Maul was closely involved with Black Sun in his rise to power (which kept them canon). Now that we know Maul's back on the scene, if we could see him making deals with the Black Sun more closely and reveal Prince Xizor, since his rise to power happened around that time, that'd be AMAZING.

Really though, Ahsoka's "Legends" line in the trailer makes me very confident that something like that is in the works, regardless of which content they're slowly adapting into canon, I'm infinitely glad they're doing it.

Yeah, I'd be quite happy with this. And really a good place to go next, to show the Empire still has impressive weapons in reserve to send after the Rebels after these Inquistors all fail.

Holy SHIT. The Honorable Ones was one of the most unexpectedly intense episodes, and we started to get REALLY dark hints about the Empire.

Dear Gods, this is the part where things start to take that really dark turn, and oh man, more of you guys need to be watching this.

I just started season 4. Of course the first two episodes included Padme. BLEGH.

Maybe by the time I catch up, I can binge watch Rebels to completion.
Although, considering the title of the final two episodes in this season of Rebels, I'm not sure I want to see how it ends.

I still have to catch up on the comics. I accidentally read Vader and Star Wars out of order. Still have to get my paws on Anakin & Obi Wan and Kanan. I want to read Kanan before starting Rebels so I have as much back story as possible.

I'm SUPER excited but nervous for the season finale of Rebels. The Kanan comic is really good, and there are some excellent backstory moments — especially just coming out of Clone Wars. I think that Season 4 was when I started to get REALLY into it, too.

I'm hoping you can get caught up close to when the Rebels season finale is, so that I don't have to have all the feels alone. xD

Also, since this theory successfully called a certain reveal in Shroud of Darkness, I'm more and more convinced that this is going to build up our connection to the where the Knights of Ren came from.

Last episode was pretty good. I wish more were like that. Rebels focuses too much on adventure-of-the-week filler imo. I kinda want there to be more story arcs, even Clone Wars at least often had mini story arcs of 2 - 4 episodes.

I think it's that Rebels started with a more narrow focus on an unknown cast, so it's taking longer for them to get all their players in the game to be able to be as consistently plot-y as Clone Wars was, but it feels like they've been seeding things really well for eventual payoff.

I love Darth Maul's voice actor!!!! I realize (after looking him up) that he also voiced The Son, but for some reason I'm only just hearing the awesomeness in Maul. I just saw the episode where Savage finds Maul and I was surprised by his mental state. (I know some of what's to come in TCW, but actually managed to avoid spoiling most things as it pertains to Maul and I was pleasantly surprised). He's totally batshit. For some reason I had expected him to be such a strong willed person that he'd have turned up as some sort of underground crime boss or something.
