Hey d00d, while you're here, I have an on-topic question for once. Does anyone remember the part in Cosmo Canyon where the party splits? And you find Tifa and Aerith hanging out, having a discussion (presumably about Cloud) and they tell Cloud to GTFO?

I remember this scene but I can't find it anywhere... and I don't plan on replaying the game to see it.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone remembers any outside commentary on it (i.e. Ultimanias, etc)

I know what you mean, I looked at some YouTube vids and all Tifa says when spoken to is "going somewhere?" Couldn't find any with Aerith being spoken to. I assume Aerith is asking to borrow Tifa's Cloud blow-up doll in exchange for lending her the Buster Sword novelty vibrator Zack bought her.

No. As far as we know, he's still alive, just old.

I think most of Johnny's lines are just mistranslated beyond recognition. But I don't remember he ever saying he's from Nibelheim, it's just assumed since he's Cloud and Tifa's childhood friend. He has some scenes in Case of Denzel too, but I don't remember much about that

I don't recall much mention of the subject matter, though I think it was mentioned as an instance of their becoming fast friends.

Also, Moar Tifa OVA. I think a twinned telling, like LO, would work well. Have her on her own to find Zangan post DOC, with episodes largely being flashbacks to her AVALANCHE time. Get a sort of Kung Fu vibe as she remembers a lesson, how that lesson helped her back then, and using that lesson in the present.
You could easy get a 4 to 6 episode OVA out of it.

I can't really find much about it. The closest is the Ultimania Omega (okay, that was the only one I checked) just mentions you being able to find them in the pub, with mention of Tifa wondering what's up with Red and Aerith wondering if the people there know more about Ancients and the Promised Land.

Also, ironically right underneath that there is a deleted scene about meeting Zangan again, lolz.

And also also ironically, there is the Tifa's Diary entry which names three boys, none of which were named Johnny. Early material files and all, but still kind of funny that it's all on the same page.

No, this scene (line, really) was part of the game. It was at the Cosmo Canyon inn, after the party splits up to take a break (Tifa's suggestion, hmmm).

I just thought it would be interesting to know what Tifa and Aerith talked about that they didn't want Cloud to hear. Didn't think it was THAT obscure but it's nowhere to be found. And maybe I'm remembering it a little wrong. Oh well, fuck it.

Forgot to answer this thing- Back in my college days, and still today, I tend to wear shorts far more often than pants. In college, I'm not sure I brought any long pants certain years. In any case, at one point, I wore pants. The shock and reaction was hilarious, including "Tim have pants? But Tim no have no pants!" and "Tim's wearing pants! It's the final sign of the Apocalypse!" and other such amusing nonsense.

As for our Frontpager, they are quite oblivious of the actual facts, and their mention of Bleach and Naruto as their go to comparisons makes me suspicious who our little raucous causer might be.
