Actually, I think Vendel has.
srs?
What was the context of the argument?
Actually, I think Vendel has.
As for the first disc I always interpreted Cloud as being partially Jenova and partially Cloud. There was still some of his real personality shining through but it's obvious he's not fully himself either.I wouldn't assume it was definitively canon that Cloud and Tifa slept together if the creators hadn't described the scene as "risqué". But I'd still think it was pretty likely. The way they act immediately after the fact seems exactly the way I'd expect two people who'd just fucked for the first time after years of mutual attraction to act. The first time is often clumsy and awkward, especially if both of you are inexperienced (as there is strong reason to believe both of them probably were, seeing as the story never mentions either of them ever having had previous romantic attachments). The fact that Tifa is embarrassed and afraid someone may have been watching is a further clue. And really, just because all the tensions aren't resolved after they fuck doesn't mean anything, even in fiction. In Battlestar Galactica, there's probably more tension betweenafter they fuck than there was before.Starbuck and Apollo
But you have to admit that the laugh has something to do with Jenova, or else why would they point it out like that?do I need to spell this out for you? clerith-being-jenovas-fault, while an amusing theory, is ultimately completely retarded, and so are you.
so next time you guys talk about Cloud joking with Tifa about sleeping next to her, I'm going to remind you that his brain was under the control of an alien.
so yeah, just because he's under jenova's control doesn't mean parts of himself don't show through.
But you have to admit that the laugh has something to do with Jenova, or else why would they point it out like that?
the real question here is:
how does Aeris feel about purple nipples?
For the record Sephiroth was the one trying to get Cloud to kill Aerith, he doesn't have control of Cloud 24/7. Aerith, the Ultimania Guide and inner Cloud all go on about how he is not his real self at all in Disc One, but Sephiroth talks to that Cloud and wants to "bring him back to the Cloud that gave me the Black Materia." There's sliding scale of how mindcontrolled Cloud is in Disc 1.
FFVII Ultimania Omega said:The origin of the saying "not interested". In the scene when the young Cloud explains his mental state by
saying, "I used to think people around me were foolish", surprisingly, he shows the posture of shrugging his
shoulders. If we consider this, the part of his coolness that keeps him away from the surroundings and the
part of his asserting "not interested" all have nothing to do with the influence of Jenova cells, they belong to the
real Cloud's personality
FFVII Ultimania Omega said:After developing his personality by using Zack, who has cheerful characteristics, his memory as the base,
Cloud still remained the part of coolness.
OMG I have to do this in Sims nowaeris and jenova: best friends forever
Meh, Jenova might mind control people and she might want to kill everyone on the planet but she doesn't ever appear to take pleasure in killing people. Kefka takes pleasure in it: "Nothing can beat the music of hundreds of voices screaming in unison!" I think that's a lot more nefarious. I can't think of any other villain who's that much of a sadist.
So Jenova is the one that got Cloud into a hot-tub of hot, sweaty, burly men? Not some underlying homoerotic tendencies?
I'm pretty sure the laugh was genuine. Jenova was in control of his consciousness 80% of the game, so if you're gonna argue that then half of the CLOTAY PROOFS aren't really valid either.
the idea of jenova using cloud to seduce aeris is pretty hot though
You know what guys? I've been thinking about some things and to be quite blunt, I just don't trust SE anymore. Can we really trust that Cloud is Aerith's koibito? I mean this is the same group of people that published Cloud's birthday wrong on more than one occasion. If they screwed up Cloud's birthday, saying Cloud is Aerith's koibito could easily be a mistake.
I just really don't trust them.

oh look at that, from the ultimania. there's other quotes like this one that completely refute your claim. cloud was messed up as all hell on disk one, but he wasn't m.i.a. wanna try again?
before zack died and aerith died cloud was not a sullen person.
do I need to spell this out for you? clerith-being-jenovas-fault, while an amusing theory, is ultimately completely retarded, and so are you.

Doesn't Cloud at the highwind scene go "Well then, I'll be loud enough for everybody."? And then there's stuff like "It's like you always say Barret, there ain't no getting of this train we are on." Life of the party he is not I wouldn't all him sullen.
When was the fake Cloud ever the life of the party? But when was the real Cloud ever the life of the party?
