You know what I find interesting? I was reading over Quex's translations, and Cloud is referred to as a childhood friend (by both the powers that be and Tifa herself), which kind of is the opposite as

"Despite Cloud having a good will, Tifa did not have any interest towards Cloud, and it was only at the time when they exchanged their promises that she started to take more notice in him."

"In those days, Tifa didn't take much notice to Cloud."

That brings me back to how we were talking about how much interaction they may/may not have had between the water well date and Cloud leaving. Not that I think that referring to them as friends means they became friends in that time, but interesting.

It has literally been Vendel posting tards from Youtube, people going 'HERE ARE MY ARGUMENTS AGAINST THAT'/'are you really betting cleriths from youtube are normal cleriths', miniwank, then nothing new happens. While they didn't know each other inside and out, I think the promise was enough to make them childhood friends.
