when cloud went with aerith to save tifa, and dressed as a woman, wouldn't that be considered to be something that zack would do? i mean he "was" zack at the time, and would he do that to save tifa if he was himself?

Don't you think Cloud tried to show his real personality sometimes, and then just got confused and etc.? xDDD He was like this: "Aerith! I can't let you get involved into this!!" and then "...Tifa! I don't want you to get involved either.."

It was like Zack was inside him and tried to get together with Aerith, in Cloud's body. D:

that's something that's been bodering me for a while, and I've never seen that being debated...because in one hand we have clouds desire to save Tifa and be her hero and in the other hand, we have the Zacloud and jenova's influence on him.

In the beginning he was being Zack, but we found out his true self later in the Lifestream. The Cloud that wanted to be Tifa's hero, and was secretly in love with her. Or is..
It's not bothering me at all. I just think SE tried to make the picture that Cloud and Aerith was meant for eachother, but then we got to know the real Cloud.

It's been stated that Cloud had multiple personalities - probably, more than three, I think? Maybe one of them would have to be Cloud himself, I don't doubt that. There's the one idealistic Cloud he wanted to be for Tifa, then the Zackified Cloud, and maybe even the real Cloud - if I recall correctly, sometimes Cloud ends up hearing his own voice? Although, because of the Jenova mimicking cells, I think he ends up acting like Zack when he sees Aerith's memories/etc. That cocky and teasing attitude.

No. Most of them probably don't even make fun of this site - and if they do, they shouldn't, because they get their information here. But nevertheless, it's not bad if they want to debate or not. It makes no difference, and if they don't want to debate here, fine with me. But if they're going to criticize and claim that we're being too rabid, that's when it's a step over the boundary of what they should be saying and what they shouldn't be saying. If you haven't noticed, some actually joined, and some have debated with us for a while, but it's probably more harder on them because we have a lot more Clotis here than we have for Cleriths. Anyways, my point is, most of them are pretty nice, I know some Cleriths here (who don't bother to debate), and it's not a bad thing. And they don't accuse me of being rabid.

As far as the ZaCloud and Jenova's influence on Cloud goes, I'm guessing that Jenova's mimicking cells have an effect on all his personalities - thus, if he saw Aerith, he would start flirting with her after reading her thoughts/memories and mimicking Zack. Then when he saw Tifa, he became the idealistic man he wanted to be. Cloud becoming all Zackified only brought Aerith and him closer; because usually, Cetras are able to detect that Jenova is within them, which is why Sephiroth kinda used Cloud as bait - Aerith couldn't detect Cloud because he was acting all like Zack, but she knew that he wasn't the real Cloud anyways, and he was putting up an act - nevertheless, she never actually got to know the real Cloud.

It's basically real!Cloud versus JeZa!Cloud, AMIRITE?

I don't think there's a real answer to that, as we're being shown that disc1!Cloud is supposed to be unstable, so all actions within the said timeframe can't be accounted to either (unless explained by the creator--like laughing Cloud).

Taking this in the Cloti perspective, he's totally protecting Tifa and Aerith as his duty as a 'hero from the promise'. Him taking on this role, being obsessed with protecting people, can be stemmed from his promise with Tifa.

What he does is depended on which person has an influence/causes him to something on him, not what he does when he literally sees the person.

No, most of the rabid Cloti's and Clerith's are.. rabid. And I know nice Clerith's that accept my opinion and all that. But I have for the most tried to get Clerith friends when I was more a Clerith myself, but when I mentioned that I liked Cloti they called me "Fake Clerith". And they got totally overboard with their proofs. ..And when I'm talking about "rabid-Clerith's" I mean only the rabids too.

I know that. What I mean is that most of Cleriths aren't. And I understand, there are some people out there who can't accept Cloti, and visibly cringe when they look at it.

I think those are probably mixed into one. He didn't really completely have Zack's memories, he just has some which he/Jenova cells rearranged so there was not gaps or inconsistencies (when the screen flashes white in FFVII, that's the Jenova cells altering and patching up his memories).

I believe this too, since most of the Clerith's who join here are sensible people we can talk with about lots of different stuff, not just the LTD. But asking them to come over here seems a bit like asking us to go over there, though there are differences in the type of forum. (The pink forum is purely shipping, this forum has lots of other aspects besides the ever-popular LTD.)

I think if they had more people come over, they may be pleasantly surprised. Hopefully. Maybe.

He doesn't actually have any memories of Aeris from Zack. What happens is that often times in the beginning, the Jenova cells "read" Aeris' memories of Zack/situation and make Cloud act in a way that reflects that to a certain degree. Not that he's like a robot or anything, but it influences his actions.
