Yeah, really. 387 pages is a LOT of LTD talk. Even though half of it wasn't REALLY talk.

Honestly, Cloud and Tifa don't have many moments together in the movie. He actually spends more time communing with the spirit of Aerith in this movie than he does in Tifa's presence

LOL, doesn't the writer of that essay know that pictures where they draw Aerith's spirit into the picture, DON'T COUNT as official? I wonder what makes Clotis see Cloud and Tifa together in the movie... maybe it's because Cloud was happy with his family, and didn't want to hurt them. Or maybe it was the fact that Tifa helped him gain strength. It certainly couldn't be because a certain someone said that it was certain that Cloud and Tifa would be together. Definitely not any of those. And most likely not the fact that Aerith is referred to a Mother on many ocassions, while Tifa is called a koibito, important woman, and someone who supports the mentally weak side of Cloud.

FFG's site has too much bullshit on it to sift through. There's no way in hell I'm reading all of that, and I hate when some Cleriths debate and send links of 'how they feel' to Destiny Fulfilled/Clerith.com, then wonder why the other side gets upset with them. Maybe because we don't want to read 20 pages full of garbage and want to be confronted directly in a fuxing debate. -breathes- All better.

Yeah, Tifa was a koibito to someone. And that's for sure, Cloud.
Like I have said many times.
That's how it is.. Aerith isn't anything more than a dear friend to Cloud.
Why aren't there anything about Aerith in Cloud's Ultimania profile then?
The only thing is probably about the LT and that he laughs together with her when he's Zack!Cloud. And that she is a part of his guilt.
While it says that Cloud and Tifa realized their feelings for eachother.

in ACC the Nibelheim theme (Anxious Heart) is playing while Cloud and Tifa are lying in the flowerbed. It fits them more.

And, once again, in Case of Barret, CloTis are twisting things to their liking, stating that Barret called Cloud and Tifa a couple, when he did nothing of the sort...

Cid: "Good for you. Whole world's clappin' you on the back. So Cloud's with Tifa?"

When, exactly, does Barret mention Cloud and Tifa's relationship? Hell, when does Cid mention it? Neither of them do

a. Cloud's expression doesn't change one bit. Tifa smiled at Cloud and that expression received focus from the creators because she was giving Cloud a beautiful "I knew you could do it!" smile. But did Cloud's expression back to Tifa receive any special focus? No. Cloud is smiling at all of his friends, Tifa's smile is shown, the camera pans back to Cloud who still has the exact same expression on his face, and Cloud immediately turns away to smile at the children. And he was smiling just at Tifa when? When, exactly, did Cloud's expression to Tifa receive some sort of special focus? Oh, that's right-- it didn't.

I mean it's not like it took people on this very thread about a minute to get screen cap comparisons or anything. Or that if you are paying attention you can tell clouds expression changes by watching the movie. Then again when Tifa is on screen they probably go all raged eyed and things become blurry.

Their artwork is just as Canon as Amano's, don't you know? And what do all those other CloTi biased staff now? Don't they know its only Amano's artwork that REALLY matters.

Someone who gently welcomes him home, knows him all to well, is the mother to the family they started in Edge, Exchanges mutual feelings with him, continues to live together with him, is the woman that he has a promise to etched into his mind, and realized their feelings for eachother in the end of the story. . .

Woah, Channy. Did you see that RAPID Clerith picture too? Aerith is not sandwiched in, she was watching though, I'm sure. She had no part in healing them at all, however.

What I mean by sammiched, stems from the whole jealousy thing I had a while ago. Tifa brings up "A memory or us?" And that's when a short Clerith scene pops in, that's sammiched in the Cloti scene. *shrugs*

You know the Clerith part of me agrees with that facepalm'd quote about "Where does he smile at Tifa?" shit. I thought he was smiling at the kids, considering Tifa smiles at him, but the next shot shows him turning around and looking at all the kids, which made me assume he had his back to her and didn't receive her smile. Then it pans to Aerith an Zack. So I never really looked at it like that... Then again I'm no Cloti.

So, logically, what makes more sense? Yuffie giving Cloud the sign to push him into taking Tifa and the kids out (when one of those kids is Barret's, therefore leaving one child's true father totally out of the loop)? Or Yuffie giving Cloud the sign as a hint to take the day off to spend with all of them (AVALANCHE)?

Honestly, when did CloTis think that group picture seen after "Calling" was taken? Obviously, there was a get-together at some point.

Why is the most obvious answer (that Avalanche took the group pic the same day as the movie) ignored for some fanciful group meeting afterwords?

This is what I mean my logical gymnastics. The most obvious conclusion (that Cloud is going to take the day off to spend with his family) is so repugnant that you would have to invent scenarios to explain it away.

Except that all anyone knew is that Yuffie was trying to get a hold of Cloud. No one knew what was in the package. Well Barret after Cloud opened it. But if he is giving Cloud things to take to the kids then what makes you think he is going to drop everything just because Yuffie is giving Cloud a Closed sign?

So without any evidence for a reunion why would Yuffie be giving Cloud the sign? To take the day off to spend with his family.

Yuffie is total CloTi.

What is a less 'loop leaping' explanation for the group photo- 1- that it was taken the same day they were all in the town together
2- quite some time later, after having already dispersed again, with Yuffie getting the all together with literally one day's warning or less.

Also consider that Barret wanted Cloud to deliver a package to Marlene. Why would he do this IF he was planning on coming along shortly thereafter.

Family day is really the most parsimonious explanation.

Oh, and Cloud and Tifa actually have several wry smiles together, including one on the jump up to Bahamut, and the shy smile in response to the one she gives during the Cloud POV Zoom.

Clerithbito, say it isn't so. He does smile at Tifa. It's included in the "Cloud's rare smile" section of ze Ultimania. The script says he smiles shyly at Tifa, even. His final smile has always been for Zack and Aerith.

And he smiles up at Tifa during those hand reach scenes. There's no confirmation of that though besides uh, you have to watch the movie to see it.

Hm, I have always thought it was their 'family day', because later Cloud calls Tifa and tells her to close the bar, and she agrees easily.
Then Cloud says: "Tell Marlene and Denzel."
And Tifa wanted to have a day off with her family, it is said in CoT. But Cloud would never stop working.
But I guess he changed his mind.
