err... no she still did, we just didn't know HOW until ACC. Remember the moogle girl said to Cloud that Aerith said he'd be there.
If AC is still 'canon,' then one could presume that you could still make up theories of what actually happened, as in AC, it shows none.

The administrator's mind and mine connect. We are one.
FUCK THE ANARCHY

Hey everybody. A certain website has a couple new ACC essays up.

Just thought you might want some lulz.

If Cloud continues to love Aerith, and if his love for her remains constant beyond death, then his love for her is far more powerful and beautiful than anything he could ever know with Tifa.

I hate to break it to you two, but the administrator is immortal and all powerful. The administrator is also not ticklish. And if you make the administrator angry, the administrator will ban you two. So watch out. :awesome:

More resilient people than the admin have claimed they aren't ticklish. I have proved them all wrong.

Because they read it! With their own eyes! In a magazine!

That they were told existed... by someone else...

Who do you think you are, the admin? D : <

Major lolz at the 'AC is still canon, therefore it still counts!' theory. If AC is still canon, then Aerith didn't help out the kids after all. 'Tis a shame.

If AC is still canon, then the ring continuity error still counts ZOMFG proposal![/sarcasm]

Oh yes I can. :awesome:

The administrator's mind and mine connect. We are one.

A collective, perhaps?

Do you combine into a larger devastator-esque yet still womanly form?

And IF Han Solo was a Jedi Star Wars would have been a very different film. BUT HE'S NOT.
'IF something then something else' only works if the something is valid in the first place. And if you're assuming the something to essentially prove the something, congratulations, YOU ARE MADE OF FAIL.
And furthermore, EVEN IF your premise were true, your conclusion DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY FOLLOW. IT again ASSUMES a greater love than existed between Cloud and Tifa, again falling into the trap of CIRCULAR REASONING.
When your arguments boil down to unsupported premise and using the conclusion as your premise, you, in short, fail. Quite badly.

So what, they're saying that loving someone beyond death equals more devotion than loving someone who is living? What a full load of crap. All this 'essay' seems to care about is that the relationship is more 'powerful,' more 'pure,' more 'mystical,' than actually talking about the relationship itself. It's as if they're choosing which pairing is more suitable for a fantasy type genre - Cloud / Aerith or Cloud / Tifa. From what I'm reading, there's nothing 'realistic' there.

Just some more fangirling.

No. It's VERY manly. :monster:

I guess a beautiful and powerful relationship would have to be mean you'd have to have some sort of tragic back story into it, but it comes out as a happy ending.

That's the thing. A lot of folks are taken with the notion that fantasy = fairy tale and missing the fact that FF7's pretty gritty and realistic once you set aside the wuxia and fireballs.

Lies. No way your combiner form could be unfeminine.

What, like a boy trying to impress a girl by getting into the best paramilitary org in the world, failing, returning home a failure, hiding his face so as not to admit his shame while the girl waits for him to return believing he could and has made it as a hero, their town burning down, him spending four years in a tube and one on the run before she now working for an ecoterror group finds him but he is now suffering from MPD and other issues and eventually becomes a vegetable only for her to devote her last days on earth to caring for him leading to her restoring his mind and learning of his love for her as he learns of her love for him, the two of them spending their possible last night on earth intimate together, only to prove successful and alive at the end, so he asks her to be by his side as he starts his new life and they start a family and raise two kids together?

Something like that, perhaps?

People seem to miss the real point in order to make themselves satisfied with whatever fanfiction type fluffy romantic story they've created for themselves in order for their own satisfaction, thus ignoring the truth.

You're a Cloti. All Clotis are men because they only care about Tifa's rack, so it would be manly.

Except the girls, who are probably just manly butch lesbians who only care about Tifa's rack.

Naw, if Cloti ladies are lezzies they're of the lipstick variety. Specially Alise. Butch is not a word I'd ever use to describe her.

That, or either they're just emo and they shy away from all that is pink and good and prefer to linger in the dark side.

Well one thing that stood out.

クラウドは女の友人であり、恋人であり

The usual translation for koibito is "lover, sweetheart, or boyfriend/girlfriend". Therefore, the typical translation for this sentence would be:

Cloud is the woman's friend, lover (sweetheart/boyfriend).

Wasn't that translated (by you) in the past tense?
