At least 50% if not more of Rude-centric stuff is yaoi with Reno, and about another 25% of it is yaoi with Tseng. Are you looking for porn or fluff, het or yaoi, or a general story from his POV?

I once read a lovely little fic about Rude sewing amulets into the other Turks' clothing, to keep them safe. I wish I could find it again.

It's from Rude's POV: he reflects back on the past as he drives Yuffie to a dinner date with Rufus at Healin Lodge, post AC. It was written as a Secret Santa gift several years ago for someone who liked both Rude's and Yuffie's characters. No sex, no fluff, just a conversation and some thoughts.

It's like a yaoi soap opera, with Rude and Tseng loving to hate, or hating to love, each other. Nothing much ever seems to happen aside from violent sex and threats. Kinda wierd but some people like it.

I swear, if I can get the Playstation back from my kids I am going to play FFXIII this summer so I can appreciate Fangu's stories.

Octo, the Elena picture came from some porn site on tumblr. I thought it looked so much like her, not just the features and the hair cut, but her expression: I love the almost reverent way she's gazing at him sizing him up.

I love that Kitty pic, Kassi. Wonderful how a little kitten will make even the hardest of men smile.

Finally, did Black Widow's skillset and backstory (and hair) in the Avengers remind anyone else of Cissnei? Forgive me if this has already been mentioned in the Avengers thread; I haven't read it.

You really need to - and I do hope you like the characters and the story. Though it does take a bit getting into, and it has a lot of 'religious' aspects with all the Gods and summons and stuff - more of that, and not as much 'politics & society' that VII has, not by a long shot. But I've come to love a lot of the characters.

Even though I'm not a piercing fetishist I really loved 'The Earring' because it's nice to see a story where Rude & Reno display the casual relaxed intimate ease of their friendship without it leading to romance or sex. The vast majority of intimate friends I have, I'm not attracted to sexually or romantically. Then again, the official canon material itself shows that partnership between the two of them, and fanfiction I personally think about as something to service a need *cough* not fulfilled by the material available. Or at least, that's why I write fanfic.

I really love their partnership and hints at off-hours friendship dynamic. I just can't get enough. That their personalities complement each other to a degree that they've made it work for at least seven years (eight?) of highly stressful times without killing each other -- rad, man. Now that's dedication.

Same here, as much as I love her version of Cloud in her smut, I really do think he's not THAT much of a sex god. Sure I'd like to think of him as someone who isn't that awkward in bed as he seems, but somehow it suits him better to be more accommodating and not that much into dirty talks And I imagine Tifa to be a little noisier than her passive version
