Definitely no 3D versions included.

There are only four discs for each Hobbit movie in this set, three of which are the bonus features (one for the theatrical edition bonuses and two for the extended edition appendices).
The standalone extended releases had the 3D version on two discs (a total of five discs: two for 3D, one for 2D and two for the appendices).

I already have the extended editions, so unless there is gonna be yet moar behind the scenes that I haven't had the chance to see yet, or gratuitous dwarf cocks I'm not gonna pay upwards of what...at least £100? Just for the books which probably contain stuff I've got elsewhere (artbooks) or at least not enough new stuff to justify the price.

Don't fool yourselves guys, there's plenty of people that will buy it, and there's lots of people such as yourselves that will get jealous. I'd release a 'light' version of the set at a relatively cheaper $200 or $300 or so, which a lot of people would buy instead of this one.
