That's realistic as well, people die, it really sucks, you don't get to keep them It's like if

Tidus existence is really what is causing the instability of the far plane, and others are coming back, but it has to be fixed so they go back, then Tidus might have to go as well, those who are dead, those who've yet to die, people are going to keep dying, I really like Yuna/FFX but I can see people/Spirans thinking why does she get to be a special snowflake when we don't get to keep our loved ones? It's like yes she/Tidus saved the world but they still had their time together and those months they were at peace/had together on Besaid as well, it's like the ad campaign was saying, we never know how much time/how long we'll have together, so treasure it will you can.

I kind of suspect that's exactly what's going to happen in whatever conclusion they come up with for this story.

Whether they make a full blown third game or not, they're going to conclude the story somehow. I think there was maybe a way for them to have their happily ever after at the end of X-2, but the way he dies through the blitzbomb is like... obviously either someone is trying to kill him, or the universe/ farplane/ residual fayth/ fayth that don't agree with him being "brought back" are just like, you should be dead. Then Yuna "brings him back" and it fucks up the balance of life. Stands to reason that the only way to fix it is for Tidus to die again.

Unless they find some other random way to bring him back and have him finally not be "made up".

I don't know. SE have this nasty habit of making something seem quite obvious then completely turning it on its head/ having something completely random and new come out the blue.

is probably pushing Tidus away to protect him (that sounds familiar too), as she knows he would give his life again in a second if that's what was required to bring peace to Spira. It could be interesting to see Yuna being selfish, as she probably feels incredibly cheated to be in this situation.

I'm not sure whether I'm more amazed at the posturing that it's being treated as news that Studio BentStuff does the editing of the Ultimanias (it's been right there on the cover of every Ultimania since the first came out in 1999) or that the "Published by Square Enix" part right below it is being disregarded (also there since 1999; well, it said "Published by DigiCube" back then, which was Square's publishing division).
