Had a test today, last of the module I'm studying, last of the semester. I think I failed it. 99% certain actually. Forgetting to account for something in a accounts clerical test I think means I failed anyway. Like usual, I know what mistake I've made after the test, when its too late, but without having to look at my book. So the knowledge is in my head, I just did not apply it at the right time 
. Resit is next semester, which I am 99% sure (as stated before) I'll have to take.

Asking if you can use my employee discount isn’t witty, endearing, or original. In fact it’s downright insulting. Everyone who’s worked here for more than a week has already been asked that question at least a dozen times, and not only am I not allowed to give my discount to customers, but unless you’ve gone about spending your time waiting on customers’ every whim and cleaning up every book they leave on the wrong shelf or table, you haven’t earned it. If you’re not going to cough up the twenty-five dollars for a membership, then pay store price for your damned books like everyone else who leaves crap strewn across the store has to.
Oh and customers who get offended when I don’t know the location of every single book in the store are pretty bad too. It’s not like the contents of the store get moved around four times a week or anything. On the whole I love working in a book store; it’s just a shame about some of the clientele.

Actually, I bumped into a friend from college who works at one of the local cinemas - he offered to "lend" me his staff discount.
