What's pissing me off? Not so much pissed as I am annoyed. I've been reading the FFVII tv tropes page and I kept running into this right here:

Ship Sinking - Word Of God, as stated in the FFVII 10th anniversary Ultimania, Crisis Core Ultimania and the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary Ultimania (amongst other places), is that Cloud and Tifa are the official couple.

Victorious Childhood Friend - Word of God, this is how Cloud and Tifa end up

Under Did They Or Didnt They : Wordof God confirms they in fact did.

I am a cloti, but this was annoying to read. Just put something simple (like Victorious Childhood Friend: Cloud and Tifa), don't keep repeating this: "Word of God: Cloti is CANON *add multiple sources*" Once is fine and gets through to the reader, but three times? Really?

And it's not just this. I keep running into biased hate/love for anything that is going on in that site, like people who really hate the Spiderman storyline One More Day, consider it the worst thing ever for breaking up a subpar marriage, and keeps saying how it's an abomination wherever they can fit it within any trope. It's not horrible (if anything, it was stupid and executed weirdly, but not horrible. They should have tried a different idea, like a divorce), it happened years ago, and they aren't gonna change it no matter how much you bitch online.

Then again this is TV Tropes and I should expect this, but it's just annoying to come across sometimes.

The point is hammered home over and over again because it has to be. Cleriths attack TVtropes occasionally, so in response to them changing the entries it has to be repeated for each damn point.

You should have seen the entries before they edited them to be less vitriolic.

Went to bed early enough that I could get eight hours of sleep. Tossed and turned for at least thirty minutes before finally falling asleep. Woke up an hour and a half before I was supposed to get up, which is just enough time that I'll be able to get back to sleep and feel exhausted when the alarm goes off, but too much time not to go back to sleep. And yeah, even though I took a three-hour nap yesterday I feel like shit.

I think it's more the fact One More Day happened simply because Joe Q was nostalgic for the days when MJ was Mary-Jane Watson (because being happily married is "boring" - wtf guy, are you 12??), and then used the Mephisto ass-pull. Also, JMS didn't like the story, he only wrote it because he was contracted to. That will always result in sub-standard work.

Anyway, lots of Marvel titles get that level of backlash (DC Comics fans seem to really not care). I'm thinking of the Grant Morrison and Chuck Austen penned X-Men comics primarily, here.

Lots of driving-related irritations today. I'm not sure whether Florida drivers are worse than Texas drivers because I've never driven in Texas before, but I fucking hate driving in Florida.

• Taking a shortcut that winds up not being a shortcut because you get stuck behind some moron who either goes absurdly slow or will. not. turn. Or both.
• Parking next to an empty space so you'll be able to see easily to get out. Then you come back and some giant S.U.V./minivan/pick-up truck monstrosity has pulled into the empty space.
• When there's some dickhead waiting for you to pull out of a parking space who doesn't give you the fucking space to do so. This is doubly annoying when there's another empty parking space a couple of spaces down. Don't these idiots realise that by the time I get out and they pull in they could already have walked to wherever the fuck they need to go?
• Missing an opening for a turn because you caught a traffic light or got stuck behind some moron driving ten miles an hour below the speed limit.
• Missing a traffic light because you got stuck behind some moron driving ten miles an hour below the speed limit.
• The aforementioned giant SUV/minivan/pick-up truck monstrosities. Most of the people driving these damn things don't even need them. Moreover, a lot of the people who drive them seem to think that simply having a large vehicle will make them safe and thus don't really even try to drive safely or even drive like fucking maniacs, making them more of a hazard to everyone else on the road than they are when driven by someone competent.

A couple of other items, these related to food:

• Waking up in the morning and feeling like you'll puke if you eat anything. You have two choices: eat and run the risk of puking (as I have done every time I've eaten when I had that feeling recently), or don't eat and feel like shit because you don't have any damn energy. It's especially bad if you slept poorly the night before, thus making you drowsy already. I always get this feeling before work, too, of course. Not that it'd be good to have such a feeling on my days off, but at least I could just fucking go back to bed and not bother doing anything until I feel well enough to eat.
• I think I ate too much. I'm going to regret this tomorrow; I just know it. The fact that I got served an abnormally large portion did not help. I took some of it home but I did not realise how much I had already eaten in time to stop myself from probably eating too much.

Poor boyf getting sick after not very much booze in my opinion. I have been drinking since 4 o clock today and yet I am still sober enough to type this. Its 1.52 GMT. Boyf came out about 9 and I dont think he drank that much but now hes been sick and fallen asleep.

I'm not pissed off by this really, more concerned I guess. I keep having to keep checking hes breathing lol. I guess this is karma for all the times hes had to look after me. Like when I got into the bath fully clothed and he found me with the tap dripping onto my socks...its seemed like a good idea at the time... Comme ci Comme ca!
