The movie was just as good the way it was, and if the movie's can't follow the novel by every line, because you'll be bored by how predictable it was, and the movie would be 16 hours long. Agreed. While mine manage to last a bit, I DID manage to mess up the studio pair I got for minimizing outside sounds. Luckily I managed to fix it with duck tape (absolutely love that shit, it's my best friend) and got it almost the way it was. (I have a backup regular stereo pair).

One pair of older Sony headphones I had once got the fuzzies ripped off of both sides, so, I wrapped a paper towel each around them and taped them on. Works quite well, I should say.

Regardless, I do agree, they do seem to be a magnet for destruction :/.
