Not too sure about the Travelling thing - I guess you could put those two into 1 and call it "TLS RL Champ" or something.
Re: 1, iirc you can't track login/logout time (= how long a session lastet) (correct me if I'm wrong) but there is a chance you can check logins for a user - I do fear that if such a table exists (which I think it does) it clears out the sessions as time passes. If not, it would be a ridiculously big table. But again, I might be wrong.
The username one should be named "Forum Schizophrenic".
Looking forward surprisingly a lot to the awards this year

I love the idea of the award, but not the name. Schizophrenia and having multiple identities are two completely different disorders, with different causes, symptoms, behaviors, treatments, etc.

I dunno, engineering and basic survival skills ARE what comprises the modern soldier/military member nowadays. They're usually not mutually exclusive!
That, and knowledge of weaponry (and by extension, defending yourselves) would still be important, and without basic gun knowledge, its just as easy to kill yourself/each other as it is a zombie.
A scant few of people with the above knowledge and the applied discipline to utilize it can teach and spread it to an entire community, making them extremely valuable.

Believe it or not, I actually wrote it as most schizophrenic to begin with. Then I remembered that some people like to vilify folk for having a sense of humour and canned it (plus my sister is schiz so it kinda seemed poor taste).

My mother is too, so I try to clarify that matter whenever I see it brought up. Not that the award name wouldn't be funny in the right context.

I've been sitting this thread out so far - I'm not really feeling the awards yet - but I agree with all of your suggestions for category removal. I can't say I really enjoyed any of those last year.
Why do I recall you making almost the exact same speech last year?The "Biggest Final Fantasy wonk" is a troublesome title. With almost zero doubt, Fangu is the biggest FFXII sage here, but not the biggest overall FF geek. I have sometimes been voted for the category but I only know a lot about FFVII, not about any other title.
I don't mean to say that the category should definitely be changed or that sub-categories should be made (I don't see that working either), just wanted to voice how the "Biggest Final Fantasy wonk" category always made me uneasy. Oh well. The worthy will win anyway.
Now, I wonder who is the "Biggest Turks Geek"...
I'd much rather vote for someone who knows 100% of one game than 10% of ten games; only the former has shown the perseverance and obsessiveness required to be a "wonk".(I'm not saying you have 100% knowledge of VII, but you're probably closer to 100% for that game than any of the rest of us are for any game.)
Would it be pedantic of me to say I've been trying to be less pedantic this year?I see the Pedantic thing as more of a being painfully correct thing. All with a very dry sense of humour.
