I think you've caught his face very well, Fangu, both front and profile. That is definitely Octo's 'serious man'. If you don't mind my saying so, the collar doesn't look right. I think collars come much further up men's necks.

I thought I'd post the new sig I use at the Genesis Awards, for no reason except to keep this club at the top of the Clubs thread.

This doujinshi artist made a doujinshi called Monthly President (such a wierd title; it probably sounds better in Japanese). I really want to buy it but it's very expensive. Am saving up for my birthday.

Ah, that's it!! I had problems figuring out why it looked so wrong (it looked more like the collar of a little girls dress, lol), but I didn't bother to check out reference pics, and I have like twenty images of men in shirts, ties and suits but I still didn't bother ;D

Well, of course I would know! It's called "Blue Moon", or "Sweet Moon"[?] After a night of passion with Tseng, Rufus is so conflicted about his sexuality that he randomly shoots in the face a passing Shinra guard who got in the wrong elevator, causing Reno, Rude and Elena to raise their eyebrows. Later he goes to a party and gets off wth some girl, but he's not really feeling it until Tseng shows up. Conflict resolved.

One day my Japanese will be good enough to translate it. Or maybe I should just invent my own dialogue? I suspect the original would be a disappointment.

I've seen the occassional image taken from Monthly President, but I've never seen a scan of the whole thing.

Okay gaiz... my pile of Elena stuff is growing Octo and I were discussing opening up a Tselena club, but feared there wouldn't be enough material. The alternative is to put Elena stuff in here (which I think is sorta wrong, she's her own person!) or to open up a Tselena club -- or even an Elena club! But then the problem is then, where do we put the Tselena images? Here or in the Elena club? Oh first world problems

If you think theres enough Tselena to sustain a club you can put it all there, or if it was an Elena club only you could put it in either thread I guess. We're all clever enough to check multiple threads....I think

@Yaccbs, well, there is also some TsengxRufus and TsengxAerith in here, and some coming in once in a while.

Oh, I didn't mean to suggest other pairings wouldn't be okay - honestly I don't think anyone here would care if there were other pairings besides Tselena, so long as Tseng or Elena is involved one way or another. But I'm totally down with a separate Elena club too

Synecdochic's new fic "Lullaby for a New World Order" has got the unusual Tseng/Tifa pairing, but tbh, much as I love the fic, everybody seems just very slightly OOC in it. I guess you'd call it AU.

Uh and anyway something happens but there was no sex and the fic didn't get finished, but it wasn't terrible so I wonder where it could have gone from there and waahhhhh!
