That "bullshit" is probably all they had as far as deleted scenes go, me thinks.

Unless they were already planning ACC and were saving the best stuff for this? But for some reason I find myself doubting that.

Hmm, I doubt that.
Even so, the small changes can barely be called "scenes". I mean, one of those scenes' only difference was a slow-mo shot less than in the final version (where Yazoo pulls a gun out of Loz' holster).

That's not only "not" a deleted scene, it's not even interesting to watch. :duhard:

In any case, I'm hoping for another audio commentary...then again...who knows if that'll be subtitled (thinking about importing the Jap. version if it's region-free).

What happened to the AC audio commentary anyway? Are there any translations for it?

I came across a file called 'AC Commentary', which I thought was a rip of the commentary. It was actually Pixel's old AC commentary :monster: I have the Japanese/director's one somewhere, just... don't know where now :monster:

There were some quotes from it on ACF, but I don't know if there's anywhere else. Someone might have saved them, though.

Dunno anymore, but they're mostly small, alternative or slightly extended versions of used scenes. I'm fairly sure they can be found on the internets.

The only deleted scene I found interesting was the alternate forest fight as it made it more apparent that the Velvet Nightmare was a gunblade because Yazoo comes slashing at Cloud with it instead of shooting as he did in the movie.

And the one extra line in the Cloud, Tifa scene, while dumb, I found interesting just because it was a half completed scene so I just thought that was cool to see.

Thank you. I looked up "deleted scenes" for AC on youtube but I keep getting stupid parodies where Cloud and Tifa profess their undying love for each other. None of them are even remotely put together well.

I think I like Yazoo slashing the gunblade like that, it gives him a bit more character depth.

Hasn't this got enough fanservice? That's one of the reasons it sucked in the first place. Throwing moogles and chocobos in without any sufficient context would be stupid. I didn't find myself yearning for our old feathered/furry friends when watching it - only a plot and some decent dialogue. :P

EDIT: Not to mention FFVII didn't have any real moogles.

And I agree, there needs to be context if they're going to throw in a Chocobo or a mythical creature like a moogle. I like the references to both that are in AC already.

You see the Chocobo Ranch directions on the way to Healin and the girl has a moogle plushie.

That's good enough. This isn't about Cloud riding a chocobo or playing with moogles.

That was a SUMMON. Mogs weren't present as any kind of world species, like in other FF games. I think the only other moogles were Cait Sith's robot aaand the one in the Wonder Square game.

FFVII had real moogles. They're just summons. They can't help they're just trapped in materia. :monster:

If we were talking FFIX or XII, maybe, but moogles weren't really part of FFVII.

But its still a moogle. A real moogle. Just cause its a spirtual summon doesn't mean FFVII didn't have them. They could all be dead, hence the reason they're in materia as a summon monster.

Plus CC has a moogle summon again, as does BC.

So they're apart of FFVII. They just aren't *alive*. And they don't have a major role in it. I agree we don't need to see any moogles save for what we see in it already.

Or since you so heavily wanted more materia use, maybe they can summon a gang of moogles to start beating up the Shadow Creepers :monster:
