I dunno, Ryu, the are Easter Lilies, symbolizing the death and resurection of Christ, so you got that going for you. And then Aeirth did want to fill Midgar full of flowers, so maybe other people had some.

More like Aerith's role as the planet's guardian is even more reinforced, whether or not the townspeople know of her sacrifice. I hope they do, she deserves a small cult to worship her.
Heh, the way she saves the day in her ghost form makes me want Aerith's death remade...

Well really what I was going for was the religious/mythological symbolism thing that SE likes to do. Aerith died trying to save the world, yes, she didn't do it on purpose, but still. It may have something to do with why the flowers used in AC are Easter Lilies.
And then there's the origin of Sephiroth's name along with the fact that a lot of the Cetra mythos and the promised land stuff borrows certain aspects from the book of Exodus.

What, you never saw the mahou shoujo pretty Cthulu series? Excellent production values.
Apparently they had problems with Ad Libbing. Nyarlathathotep never could stick to a script. Even his own.
Then there was that awful replacement they got for Azathoth because it 'didn't have the screen presence'.
