The scene with Denzel holding Cloud's phone is probably the ending of the new short movie and/or a flashback in the movie. If they can somehow mention Denzel's story in ACC itself it would be good, so it still works good on itself. And I don't mind flashbacks; they've always been an integral part of the storytelling in Final Fantasy.

You know what change I would like? For us to actually see what Kadaj sees as he looks into the box(when in the church). I recall official sources saying that he was surprised to not see a head but rather just a heap of tissue and/or he was sad it had been damaged during the Kadaj-Rufus fall. I know Nomura is into the "wow, let the audience come up with their own theories of what they saw"-mantra, but I really think they should actually show the content of the box.

That synopsis on the main page sounds incredible. The movie sounds vastly improved. Which I'm very glad for since its making me buy ANOTHER copy.

And Shademp, Jenova's head or whatever's in there probably took far more damage from Cloud's sword. I thought Kadaj was crying not because of what was in it, but because he just realized Cloud had slashed it.

Pretty sure Cloud had cut whatever was left in half from the looks of it.

Not sure I want to see a grotesque maimed Jenova head/neck/whatever.

Seeing as how the release isn't that far away now, it wouldn't hurt for SE to release the trailer soon. Like sometime in January, to help boost interest in the product.

But who knows, I'm just hoping.

Does ACC even have a site they could show the trailer on? I've never seen one, and the link here just takes you to the old AC site which hasn't been updated since 2006.

Unless they plan to include it with something else, like another magazine or a game (like how FFX-2 International had an AC trailer).

You mean the movie? It comes out March in Japan, I don't think there's been an announced release for the US yet.

(I wonder if we'll get an English trailer for a change? I don't really care, but I thought it was odd when AC came out the first time there weren't any trailers in spoken English)

I'm excited to see just what happened to Elena and Tseng in the Northern Cave at the beginning of the movie. I'm glad Denzel is going to have a more prominent role in the film as well. Seems like they are making him into a mini Cloud just like Marlene is a mini Tifa ^_^

It'll be good to see more of the other characters taking part in battle too, since we only got that one scene with them all in the first version.

And I'll take it...but I would like more of the others :-[. Though it sounds like we'll get to see Tifa fight off a few of those Shadowcreepers which is awesome.

No, just no.

I don't like those kinds of comparisons at all, nor do I see how they fit.

I'm rather glad with the extension of the scenes that were mostly hinted at & left soem questions - mainly the one in North Crater with the Turks, though it dampens the surprise of Kadaj dropping their badges on the ground, it'll be worth that alteration to give more background to those three.

The extension of the fight scenes, and adding a little bit more participation / interaction on everyone's part seems good, though I don't want it to seem too overdone. - Average townsfolk getting run down by Shadowcreepers while Denzel manages to save the day all over the place cause he's a main character. I don't care if he manages to help, I just hope that it's not overdone.

Most of it will hopefully serve to open up, and fill out the rest of the film. In looking back, it makes AC seem like more of an outline / storyboard, and ACC being the fully fleshed out story - especially with the inclusion of scenes that weren't added before / ones that appeared in later compilation titles, and tie everything together.

Now that you lot mention it, the fight with that Bahamut thingy was kinda short - it's like 'Oh and here's character X doing Y saying Z' repeated a few times, whilst nobody actually knows who's who. The only FF character that actually got a bit of a role was Vincent, which leaves out the majority of characters in the original game.

I think that's just a rumour. I remember reading stuff from people at Jump Festa saying they didn't give a proper date for ACC.

Im freaking tired of the constant waiting, really.
FFXIII & Versus (I count its been around 3 years already) and ACC which was at first to be out in 07, then 08, now the date again is uncertain... :(

I doubt that'll happen, it would never fit in there so whatever's in there would probably be a mutilated chunk of goo or something, :monster:.
