I bought Football Manager 2016 in the Steam sale because the Euros have me all into it again.

I am a woeful manager :closedmonster:

Been looking at the Steam sale as well. Have just bought a game from my wishlist, Battlestation Harbinger, because of the similarities people have drawn to it and FTL (one of my favourite games). Am enjoying it quite a lot so far.

Been bouncing between Minecraft and GTA Online. Got a good set of friends to play both games respectively and been getting a lot of good footage up on my YouTube channel. I didn't realise how relaxing the former could be... until there's a creeper all up in your grill. :monster:

I'm playing Star Ocean 5 at the moment, loving how it phases in and out of battles, but I kind of feel like this story has been done before. I kind of with the characters were a bit deeper as well. It's fun though it's definitely not better than 3.

The Witcher 3. Made the typical man mistake. 'I don't need no stinkin' tutorial!'

.... First six hours wandering around aimlessly, getting killed by everything that moved.

I er, got another month of XIV. I'll probably get bored with it pretty soon again. But, I need a timewaster.

Just started playing Dragon Age Origins tonight.

I think...I'm fairly sure... I mean... I believe I'm going to freaking love this game... :closedmonster:

^The clue is in the name, right? :awesome:

I can relate right now in that I'm playing Twilight Princess. (You can probably guess where this is going)

THE TWO WOLVES ARE HOWLING THE 'SONG OF HEALING' TO EACH OTHER!!

I decided there and then that this will be the greatest game I'll ever play.
This game just keeps on giving - I can't get over how good it is :aah:

Just started on the new Star Ocean game. Played about three hours so far, and I'm enjoying it a lot. Probably the most fun I've had on a jrpg since Xillia.

Update: I'm partially addicted to Dragon Age Origins :awesome: Currently I'm in the Brecilian Forest and doing that quest line. First place I went to after Lothering.
I picked a female human noble warrior as my origin and class, and am loving it. :D I enjoyed the origin story and the fact that I got a hound as a party member :awesome: RIP 'EM TO PIECES VENTOS!!

Finally getting the hang of the battle system. Lots of switching characters and pausing is involved for me to get through battles now with no one dying. I'll need to take a closer look at the tactics presets and fool around with those too I think. See if I can set up better ways to fight and be prepared.

As for the story overall, I'm enjoying it, and the characters. I love the chatter between characters, the relationships that form between them all, the twists and turns, ect. It's all very fun. :D

I know I've mentioned it somewhere on the forum once or twice about playing Guitar Hero again ages ago, but I've finally picked up Guitar Hero III today, and there's little doubt all the years of playing never really leaves you.

I just finished the first song (and forgive my big-headedness here, but...), Slow Ride, on Expert, and hit 100% of the notes without breaking combo :neo:

I even remembered the cheat to activate hyperspeed :closedmonster:
(Y, O, B, O, Y, O, B, O)

Edit:
Also, tomorrow, going to dish out my old hacked version of Guitar Hero with all custom-created songs
That never happened in the end 'cause the disc was in bits :awesome:

You couldn't get me to stop playing this game. I'm so hooked. :awesome:

Well, the second game was kinda meh-ish, but it was churned out in like a year so idk.

I'd heard a bit about the second and third games and thought the second one sounded not as fun, but I'm sure I'll still wanna play it.

Anyways I have a story prediction here for Origins:
I'm wondering if Duncan is still alive and just captured by the darkspawn? After Ostagar, Flemeth seems to imply that darkspawn captured survivors and took them prisoners and that there may be a chance to rescue them later on. Soooo I've had the thought that he might be alive still since you technically didn't see him die. But I could be wrong. I could just want to romance the guy. :closedmonster:

lol, I was gonna say, "franchise is excellent" if we're following the "two outta three ain't bad" rule. :monster:

I definitely enjoyed Origins, although I'm a bit ashamed to say that I'm simply not in love with the D&D-style CRPG combat systems. Which is odd considering I really like D&D. Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, I've played them all (but only finished DA), and I never enjoy the combat. The constant pausing to issue commands while the battle otherwise lacks any sort of structure just kills the pacing for me. I'd prefer it if it were simply fully turn-based.

By the end of DA I had put the difficulty on Easy so I could just play it like Diablo.

Same, I prefer my games a bit more action-y. In that regard, I think the second game is better, can be played without pausing in the casual difficulty levels at least.

Still playing Dragon Age :awesome:

OMFG THE FADE I hate DISLIKE YOU SO MUCH :closedmonster: No seriously, it lasted for freaking ever. It became more fun once I unlocked the other 3 shapes besides the mouse, and I realized they all had different attacks, but still. :I
Anyways I completed the mage's tower and with that finally recruited the group of mages to help me free Conner from the demon at Redcliffe.

Also I let Zevran live and now have him as a party member. Was amusing. :monster:

Also I found out that I can only romance 3 people, and that since I'm female, Morrigan is off-limits. :closedmonster: Which she's pretty gorgeous, and Leliana is so sweet, but eh, I wanna go for guys. So that leaves Zevran and Alistair. Not much options. .__.
I'll go for Alistair. :wacky:

Freakin Alistair. Always annoyed me that he's perfectly comfortable with teasing you (in a friendly way), but if you try to tease him at all he goes to cry in a freakin corner.

Flare: Anyone who has played through Origins can attest to the Fade being horrible, long and confusing on their first playthrough. It's like a right of passage for the series.

Ugh Alistair, if he's not crying in a corner about being teased he's fucking whining about something. Tbf his whining could be worse, he could be DA2 Anders.

Meanwhile Leliana has complimented my hair and oh gawd :awesome:

Nah Alistair is kinda cute so it'll be him. :monster:
