Aight so I got a PS 4 finally, yey
. I've been playing two games this weekend (all weekend, plus bonus day because holiday):
The Division - I don't like Ubisoft games because they tend to do the thing where you're tossed into an open-world game and there's no linearity to it, just a billion repetitive quests. The Division is just that, buuut... somehow I've spent most of my time on this one so far. It's enjoyable. I'm also very impressed with the amount of level / area design put into the game, the sheer amount of crap and rubbish the game's modelers chucked everywhere. That must've been an enormous amount of repetitive, boring work, but as a result it really does set the mood. And it kinda needs it, too, because "regular human post-pandemic city-scape" isn't the most exciting or inspiring backdrop for a game like this. I'm also still waiting for a story to emerge, so far there's been like one cutscene and two bits of story about some virus or something, and I'm >10 hours into the game already
The other one is, off course, Uncharted 4. I'm playing this one off and on, on the one side because I don't want to rush through it (I paid full price for it ffs), and on the other because IDK, it kinda wears on me after one or two missions? That might just be that other thing though, i.e. not wanting to go through it too quickly. Once I'm done I should focus on the multiplayer, even though it's the same as UC 3's and that one didn't particularly invite me to play it moar either (mostly because I can't aim or control my character, oloo)
